The Other Place

Best burgers in town! My buddy and i went in to get fuel and smelled something awesome! We got "The Kaz" the first day and then we went in for the rest of the week to try all of the burgers, each one was better then the last! Go for the food but you will stay for the conversation, awesome staff and friendly environment!

One of the best burgers in town. If you want something freshly made and prepared in front of your eyes, then this is the place for you. You enjoy your burger elbow to elbow with other burger lovers such as yourself. Keep in mind, the trick is, once you pick it up don’t set it back down. These greasy sloppy burgers are pure heaven wrapped in wax paper! (Also The Other Place is the deli inside. Exxon is the gas station. So all the people leaving reviews about the Exxon on The Other Place page are not the brightest)

Had a burger there that was nothing short of perfection. The shrimp were cooked beautifully, the patty was perfect, and the bun was a great addition. The bacon was nicely seasoned and crispy. They have this spicy sauce that pairs perfectly with everything else as well. Morgan talked to us the entire time we were there and was very polite and friendly while she prepared our food. I will be back next time I'm in the mood for great customer service and great food.

It was my first time stopping in today. I didn't really know the process as far as ordering but I watched this man just go up to the ladies and place his order so I did the same. The food didn't come out very quick but when it did it was really good. It is one of the best tasting burgers around here. I will def return again. Prices are really reasonable as well. People working there were very nice.

I walked in thinking I was gonna get a regular ole burger, but what I got instead was more than just a burger. That first bite, oh what heaven that first bite was! The bun like a oven tanned breast of an angel resting gently on the ketchup and mustard below. Flavors mingling together in a seductive pas de deux. And then, a pickle! The most playful little pickle! Then a slice of tomato and a leaf of lettuce and a patty of ground beef so exquisite; swirling in your mouth, breaking apart and combining together again in a fugue of sweets and savories so delightful! This was no mere sandwich of grilled meat and toasted bread, this was GOD speaking to me through food! Now everytime I pass that sign that reads “The Other Place”, it will capture me with its seductive, tantalizing tentacles and reel me in for another bite of the sandwich crafted by the hands of the Lord himself. But yeah all in all I’d say it was a good burger.

If you want a "fast burger," go elsewhere. The owner-cook makes up burgers (and other things) fresh. The meat is not frozen. You can watch your burger as it is cooked. The net result is a high quality, tasty burger. She puts on whatever you like (fresh lettuce, tomato, onions, and mayonase, mustard and catchup). My personal favorite is the bacon double cheeseburger. Her soups are excellent, hearty and flavorful. It is well worth your time and tastebuds!
