On Wednesday February 23rd, I called and made reservations for Saturday February 26th for two people. Someone called me back the next day to confirm and I added another person to our reservation. We showed up right on time at 6 p.m. We were told by the host that our table was not ready and that the people seated had delayed ordering and had just begun to eat their entrees. He then offered to have us sit at the bar to wait which there was limited room. When we reminded him we had reservations at 6 he said that he couldn't force a table to order on time and that they have "no control" over that. We found him to be rude and condescending. He did not even apologize for the delay. Bad customer service! Adding insult to injury, he then wanted to set up a table right outside the kitchen and the bathrooms in a hallway! If Barbaro opens at 5pm how could they have seated a table at 5pm expecting them to be finished by 6pm for our reservation? Only diners do that. And if it was a walk-in, they should have told those people that they need the table by 6. We wound up leaving and going someplace else. We will not be back as we cannot trust their word. Don't bother making reservations because you'll probably have to wait a while anyway for your table.

Very good service! The staff was friendly and attentive. The food that I was able to order was delicious. I say "was able" and only gave four stars because it's also a food fired pizza place that doesn't offer pineapple or pepperoni. How are you a pizza place that doesn't have pepperoni?! And yes pineapple goes on pizza! That said, it was a pleasant environment with a good drink selection. A bit expensive for what it really is but I will return in hopes of more pizza topping options.

This is my favorite restaurant hands down. I love everything I've had here and we've tried most of their menu. Favorites are the burrata ravioli, the chicken paillard, calamari, octopus and for holidays their short rib special is my favorite thing to eat. This is a beautiful spot, gives off a quaint romantic Greenwich Village, NYC vibe. Nice decor and good staff. Wish they had longer hours
