love their pizza. been buying their pies since 1990. its a unique crust nobody can mimic. the trick to frankies is you must eat it hot. take a bite into cold frankies and the cheese all comes off. it must be hot. why 4 stars? i paid with a credit card and there was no printed receipt option. no, i don't want to give you my number or email, i get enough spam.

Frankie’s Pizza is a staple in Miami has been serving pizza for over five decades! This is what you call “classic vintage” style. They specialize in square pies for takeout only! I think their pizza was better years ago but it’s still not bad and could use some improvement. Hoping management reads customer reviews and makes adjustments to their pizza. As with any dish, it starts with fresh ingredients. 😃 The staff is friendly and polite. You have try this place if you haven’t already, it’s a classic!

One of the best pizzas in Miami, the sauce is not sweet, and the dough is good. They offer half baked pizza, but for those that like well done pizza, do not over cook it, it loses is height and dough flavor. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is, the fact, that I bought a couple of their largest pizza, and I was told it came with a sample and cookie, they must of forgot to put it in the box.

I’ve been ordering Frankie’s Pizza for over 20 years. It’s hard to believe there’s still some folks who haven’t tried this spot. Today one of my employees and I were debating where to eat and when I mentioned Frankie’s they looked bewildered. Well this is a perfect teaching moment. We parked in the rear and he was amazed that in 35 years living in Miami he’s never stopped by. We placed our order and 15 minutes later we had our pizzas. What can I say other than it transports me back in time. Even though they don’t have any inside seating the fellas allowed us to eat at the counter (it was too damn hot outside). Needless to say the pizza was fresh, tasted amazing and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. Hard to believe it’s been a Miami staple since for 55 years. It was a hit so we’ll be coming back only next time he’s paying.

I actually stopped here today just to take a picture of their vintage neon sign! I walked inside, and it is really just a carry out pizza place. I ordered a slice, and it was literally like two dollars! The girl at the desk was super friendly, awesome service, and I was surprised at how totally delicious this little square slice of pizza was. I will be stopping here every time I’m in that neighborhood.
