Wendy's

Went there this morning on my lunch break. Went back to work, and took one small bite, realized it tasted funny looked down and this is what I got. I was so disgusted and I called and told them. They were nice but they said that the grill is on a timer and says when it is done. Well obviously not because this is not done. I was cool about it and didn’t lose my ish but I am upset and disgusted for sure. This is unacceptable!

We have been on a salad kick lately, and they have a great cranberry apple one. Plus, it was very cold and icey weather, so some of their chili was in order. I downloaded the app and ordered.It wasn't easy. I kept having issues with the card payment. I had to re-enter it 3 times. After this, it was easy. I looked for a place on it where I could request extra salad dressing, but there wasn't a field or extra instructions entry. I had to tell them at the window. That is another point, it says when you get there to go to the pick-up location. I assumed this would be outside in the parking lot. I thought the ideas to have curbside pick up to protect from being close to others. I didn't see a place, so I drove up to drive-thru window. They seemed surprised and rude. They did bring me my order but not very friendly. Told me next time to come inside to the pick-up area. My bad. But, they should say this on the order verification on the app. Simple mistake, but I thought they were like the other restaurants we pick up all the time. You park and enter on your app that you are there; they bring it out to you. Get with the program Wendy's. The salad wasn't fresh, and some of the lettuce was starting to brown. It was okay. The chili was spot on.i had forgotten how good it was. There is another Wendy's about the same distance another direction. May try that one and see if they have friendly people who appreciate their customers. That does make a difference.

I stood at the counter for close to 10 minutes waiting for someone to help me out. They kept arguing about who's turn it was to be up front, that escalated to a lady loudly yelling at a yound new hire, demanding that he do it. The manager finally comes out and stands at the register but instead of helping me out he stands and just watches everything going on with fascination! Sad to say this was my third attempt at getting food at this location... and all 3 times I've left with no food.

Have visited this location 4 or 5 times. The first time was excellent- got the food fast and fresh and the lobby was clean. For some reason they have closed the lobby since then- COVID has not gotten any worse in my area, so I think they probably just did it to save money so they don't have to pay an employee to clean it. So I've used the drive-thru instead- the service is inconsistent- sometimes the employees are friendly and sometimes not. Sometimes the food is fresh and sometimes it tastes stale. Last time an employee held my drink up with one hand out the window, not even looking at me. I couldn't reach it. You know, I understand fast food jobs pay really poorly, but I would still expect a basic level of friendliness. Look your customers in the eye during the money and food exchange. Say "thank you," even if you don't mean it.
