Piefection

Wow! So many pies. Hard to choose just one. From savory to fruit and cream, piefection has every pie imaginable. And cheesecake! I tried the Arizona Orange and it was fantastic. Smooth and creamy with a bit of tartness from the orange zest. Not tart like key lime or lemon meringue, but delicious! Take the tin back for a $1 credit on your next pie.

First, and sadly, our last time at Piefection. At $5 per slice of pie, and when pies are the only thing that you’re making/selling, they better be good; however, the 3 different pies we tried were mediocre, at best. We had the peach pie, the peanut butter brownie, and the custard, which I have included a photo. In the photo, I have included a quarter coin, for reference on the thickness and overall size of the pie; remember, this is a $5 slice here! If it’s pie you want, I would recommend Costco; better pies, and much better value!

I have used the quiche from Piefection for family dinners and I have ordered three dozen to use for a women's luncheon. Love working with family businesses. And the food is fabulous. The dessert pies are great too. Our new favorite is the Boston cream pie which is really kind of a cake but wonderful just the same.
