Schlotzsky's

Albuquerque Turkey is freaking legit. The smokiness of the Turkey is wonderful. Jalapeño cheese bun smooth and wonderful. Good texture not overly hard to crunch. Bacon added for added goodness. Well put together sandwich. If Doc Holiday order a sandwich this is what he would’ve ordered. The exchange of words between Doc Holliday and Johnny Ringo.. the line goes “In Vino Veritas”.. well he would’ve said in Turcia Sandwico Veritas. In Turkey Sandwich there is truth. Because this sandwich can fly on its own.. the chips are not as hard as kettle cooked. Nice. Vegetables are fire roasted.. whew .. I never expected this but surprised me… Last time I remember eating at Schlotsky’s was in Albuquerque.. go figure. Over 22 years ago.. @ Rio Rancho by Intel.. this sandwich… te dará sueño….. Round 2… Pastrami Reuben, chips and Coke Zero. Waiting. Busy today and it’s a Tuesday. A little too much sauce but overall tasty. I want more of the meat flavor than the sauce my preference. Very nice texture. Pleasant. I would order again. Pickles .. make it nice .. in between bites. Sauerkraut.. superb.. always tasty..

Amazing sandwich! Cash or credit cards accepted. Indoor and outdoor seating as well as a drive through. Schlotzsky's is a variation on how I imagine a New York City deli sandwich - so many amazing flavors mashed together in such a small space! My favorite is the original. Sourdough toasted bun layered with pastrami, lettuce, onion, tomatos and mustard. It's served warm and is definitely a unique sandwich much different from other sandwich chains like Subway. If you're in the neighborhood give it a try!

Faster service and super fresh food with more meat now, making it a much better value. Now to decrease your cost of soda! Lol seriously, if you had $1 drinks I'd be there all the time.
