As far as dive bars go this one's my fave. But don't go for a Budweiser they don't have them. But they do have Coors banquets!

Visited for the first time for my bday karaoke. Place is good for karaoke but really smoky. If that doesn't bother you, its a good place to hang out with friends. They only have beer for alcohol. BYOB.

Best bar in Memphis. Hands down. Owners/Bartenders and other staff are all fantastic people to know. Beer only, but you can bring it your own liquor with no bottle every day but Thursday ($5 on Thursdays due to Comedy Night). They host an assortment of shows, games, movie nights, etc. every week. Also the most culturally varied place you'll find in Memphis. I can keep going, but you get the idea.

Always lots of cool, interesting people on the back door hangout. There is also usually quite a bit of eye candy in the form of sexy Midtown girls with their friendly, inviting and confident, but far from stuck up attitudes and demeanor, along with the unique blend of intelligence, street smarts, awesome conversational skills, sweetness and irresistible personalities, curvaceous bodies, pretty faces and totally enjoyable company they possess makes them so special and extremely attractive! What more can I say? P & H is a Midtown Memphis institution with so much to love and always entertaining! Hope to see you there soon!

This is a smoking bar. I went to a comedy show here and had a good time. Not sure what it's like on a normal night, but there was an $8 cover charge for the show. Was definitely worth it though

Best burger in Memphis! Cold brews, bartenders are attentive, stand up comedy on Thursday nights, pool, open late, basically it's the best burger and a brew spot in Memphis.

I’ve been coming here for many years now, and I keep coming back because the people, crew and patrons, are family. They only serve beer, so if you want liquor, bring it with you! But definitely give them a chance if you haven’t ever been in!!

We had a great night seeing live music. The punk rock show here was very cool and the scene was very inclusive and supportive and the drinks were fairly priced. We got to see about 5 bands for the cheap cover price of $5. Pool tables in the back.

If you live in the Memphis area and have never been here, you have no clue what you are missing. Good beers at a great price. Delicious food at a good price. A regular watering hole for me, for sure!!

Great unique drinks and laid back atmosphere. Music always starts late but that's cool when the bands are so good. :) Had a great time.
