Probably the best food you can get in the zoo. Very big portion. The food tasted decent. We waited for 15 minutes for our food, which is very slow considering there weren't many people in the restaurant.

The lady left in the middle of taking our order because someone called her. They closed the kitchen so we wanted to ordered a sausage roll and they told us: it is probably going to be cold because we turned off the machine (at 2:00 pm). It took forever to make a coffee and there was no queue. I can see why people bring food from home.

A pretty poor excuse for a cafe. It promotes online menu ordering, which is great. Kudos there. But the mobile reception at the cafe is abysmal. And to make matters worse, they are always out of half the food that is on their very limited menu. It's a real shame as it used to be really good, but a change has really brought this establishment right down. I couldn't even get a simple beef pie! You're better off bringing a packed lunch from home.

The lakeside used to be a place for decent food. It has changed significantly in the last few months with a downgraded menu and poor quality. It appears that there is new management and not for the better. Shame as this used to be my go to place at the Zoo. Update: new menu includes Vietnamese noodles that were reheated fodder. No stars.

Beautiful scenery and good pricing. Cheap as chips. Good selection of food. Loved it. And the surrounding gardens are spectacular.

20min wait to make a coffee. After waiting ten minutes in a queue. You think a Saturday would be better prepared and be able to handle making a coffee.
