Pho Flinders

Nice cozy little restaurant in the midst of busy streets. Quick stop for lunch/dinner after a long busy day in the city or before a night out. Bonus is also they have their own bathroom on site! So no need to go elsewhere. Yummy declious and cheap eats! They cater to individual diners or even groups (we had 3 children with us & a pram) and they were more than accommodating with us.

Update: dine in pho bowls seem to be A LOT bigger than takeaway, which is a big plus if you want to eat at restaurant but also kind of annoying when you want to just takeaway and it’s skimpy as. They also charge 50 cents for a takeaway container, which I find slightly annoying, but understandable, but annoying. Pho taste was on point (or maybe I was just really hungry). 9/10 But the pho soup was still pipping hot when I got home- just how I like it! Rare beef and brisket were both yummy. Great location. 10/10 I always go past Pho Flinders Express to/from work. To be honest, it’s not the most appealing looking restaurant from the outside and even on the inside. Portion size was disappointing. 5/10 I ordered a medium pho and there were hardly any noodles!! I’m still hungry… if this is a medium pho, I wonder what the small pho is like. Or was I given a small pho when I paid for the price of a medium pho? Who knows. Either way, I will definitely try this place again! Maybe I’ll get a large pho next time and see if that’s more filling.

Well, the pho tasted fine, but the avocado smoothie was slightly off. I attempted to convey to the employee that the smoothie didn't taste right to me and that I'm uncomfortable consuming it. Instead of being hospitable, the staff placed the blame on me, stating that it was my fault that I wasn't satisfied with my smoothie, despite the fact that I have frequented this establishment for the past two years and have always been satisfied with it. It appears that staff are extremely unfriendly and unprofessional in their handling of the situation. I believe that, as a paying customer, I have every right to defend myself if the food I've purchased does not taste good.
