Quiet hole in the wall cafe with elegant paintings for decor. Great sandwiches, soups, fresh fruit, n dessert options. Come for the atmosphere of peace but stay for the food is how I would sum it up.

Our ladies luncheon ate here this week. The BEST food! Fresh cut fruit in a large fluted glass not some dinky little bowl. The side salad, chock full of spinach, strawberries, jicama, green/orange/red peppers, was served in a plate larger than most dinner plates. Piping hot, flaky crusted spinach, mushroom, onion quiche. All for $7.95!!!
Definitely going back! Plus, while you're eating, being surrounded by beautiful art pieces which are for sale.

Had a delicious vegetarian on wheatberry bread sandwich and substituted the chips w/ grapes and strawberries. While our meals took about 45 min to 1 hr to be served they made up for it by giving us all a warm Chocolate Fudge Walnut Coffee Cake for dessert :-)

Masterpiece Cafe is a beautiful restaurant with great food. Love the artistic atmosphere and customer service from the staff. You should definitely visit this North McAllen gem if you haven't already!
