The Turtle Shell

Food was good and cheap priced especially for lunch. The menu is extensive, I wasn't expecting that, with everything from burgers to pasta and steaks. Didn't try any of the alcoholic drinks unfortunately, but the waiter didn't give a bad suggestion. I had a grilled chicken salad and it was HUGE. I couldn't finish it all. I'm big on dressings, the ranch wasnt homemade, but didn't taste disgusting like the ones from the store. Coworker had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was very flavorful and tender, unlike other places in the upstate. The wings were standard, but seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Even the fries had just the right amount of seasoning. For a quick bite, I'd definitely eat here again.

This was my 1st and will be my last time ordering here. I am very disappointed in my service and my food. I ordered two steak and shrimp meals, which should have been cooked well done and medium well. As you can see these are nowhere near what I ordered. Both are nearly raw. Additionally, my quesadillas were extremely burnt. I mean not edible at all. I called and spoke with the manager to get my order replaced and he refused to help and did not stand behind his food. I would not recommend this to any of my friends or family. I only tried this because of the great reviews, but I didn't receive the good food nor service that everyone bragged about.

The service her is always amazing. They have amazing burgers ask for the burgers that are not on the mine. All of them are delicious. The only thing I miss is the home cooked potato chips now they have shoestring fries Maybe they will consider having both. Go try it you will not be disappointed and you will be stuffed when you leave.

Food was better than good! And lots of it. It was our first time. I am allergic to wheat so I got a salad, our daughter-in-law the super nachos (surprising what they put on top of those chips!), my husband and son mountain-sized hamburgers that were made from hand-rolled, fresh Angus beef,then seasoned before cooking. Our waiter was very friendly and answered many of our questions about the restaurant. We all said we want to go back more often and try new items each time we enjoyed the food so much. It will be interesting to see how my sandwiches come without the bread. Several salads I can't wait to try.

Good place to eat with friendly staff, good food, and good prices. This is a non chain restaurant with a turtle oriented theme. I have been there several times starting with my anniversary with my wife several years ago. The food is standard fare for an American restaurant with maybe more seafood then normal. It is always cooked fresh, and is very tasty. The prices are really good considering the quality of the food and so are the portions. My only real complaint is that last time we were there they cooked the seafood at the same time as the rest of our food which made my wife, who is allergic, feel her throat swell a bit and made her itch a bit. But we didn't tell them she was allergic so I can't really hold that against them. Highly recommend anyone looking for a great place to enjoy a cozy meal check this place out
