Cafe Bella

Save your money and eat anywhere but Cafe Bella. This is the second time I have ordered food from here and this is the second time that it was horrible. Both times my daughter's kiddo chicken tenders were burnt. Like very burnt. The fries are cold and my oysters in my poboy were also cold. I'm assuming the food was cold because it was delivered, but still no excuse. I literally live around the corner. The last time, I ordered crab cakes and was given a soft shell crab and told that's what I ordered. No I did not. They could do so much better. This is just freaking nasty! Saddest part of it all is that when I called to tell them about it, I was told I have to wait for the owner who just left and he will call me in the morning. I wasn't offered a remake or refund so that I could feed my kids tonight. Nope very poor service.

Food was good the first time I went but the second time it was not good at all and I ordered the same thing the softshell crab with soup and crab cakes. Well they were out of the sausage gumbo so I got corn n crab bisque and that was cold and tasted funny. The crab cakes were burned and the softshell crab was over cooked too. Oh and the sauce for the crab wasn't creamy like the first time it was more thick and just weird textured. The first time I came here the food was awesome but since it seems to be so inconsistent I won't be back. Sorry.

Wow! Just finished a bowl of shrimp and grits...EXCELLENT!!! Got a blast of flavor from the shrimp, a decent amount from the grits and a neutral amount from the white wine infused sauce on top, making for a very nice combo overall! The place is very clean although it is still a brand new restaurant, and our server appeared to understand the whole "be seen and not heard concept". Really enjoyed the whole experience. Great little place that is secluded enough to stay quiet, yet still in the neighborhood. Loved it!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 👍👍👍👍👍

Breakfast was good last time we ate there, but this time, let me tell ya. No lump crabmeat on my stuff crab that was cold when I got it. Was supposed to b chicken tenders on my daughters kids plate that looked liked crumbs at the bottom of a fry basket and forgot about my gumbo that was supposed to come with my crab. Don’t know what’s going on over there but it sucks to pay that high price and get what u get. Just saying, should b better than that

I feel like this restaurant is a Westbank Secret that needs to be shared. I enjoyed the casual dining atmosphere with a friend of mine; it was a great place to catch up. The restaurant had wall-to-wall windows and dining space outside if you want to enjoy the beautiful day. The menu had a variety of New Orleans cuisine that is sure to please your palate. The waitress was very hospitable and our food came out relatively fast. I truly liked that their prices are incredibly reasonable. I just really enjoyed everything about the whole experience.
