This place used to be so good but the service and the quality of food have bit the dust. My wife and I have regularly ordered to go for over two years with zero issue, until the past three months. Our orders are skimped. Hardly any French fries with a double order. The ‘mashed potatoes’ were far from mashed and the gravy was chunky like someone had just mixed it from a $.79 gravy pack from the Dollar Store. Not to mention there was zero seasoning on the potatoes. In January I would’ve given this place five stars. But the lack of care from the current staff and the hugely diminished portions, we will not be returning. Save your time and money. This place is a joke.

Amazing wait staff. Service is incredibly fast. They’ve got your typical Midwest diner fare. Homemade pies that you’ll have to lie to your grandma about. Little bit of country music on the background. This place screams Midwest about as loud as a place can. Older crowd. Tons of regulars known by name.

Good smoked flavor for the pulled pork but the meat is dry if you don't use barbecue sauce. Friendly service. I love homemade pie and this restaurant has it, however, the peanut butter pie isn't creamy with terrific peanut butter flavor. It's more gelatinous like they've used a lot of gelatin to thicken the filling with very little to no peanut butter flavor.

This has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat! It’s a “Mom & Pop” place; the kind of place you like to sit a while and just relax. The rare kind where the staff and owners treat you like family. From their fantastic food to their obvious desire to make you feel welcome to stay as long as you’d like, I cannot rate this place high enough. P.S. You MUST try their catfish filets and be sure to order a piece of their homemade pie or strawberry shortcake! Delicious!
