Their side salad absolutely did not disappoint! All kinds of good and locally sourced fresh greens with plenty of flavor. The pork belly sandwich was very classic, though I skipped on the bread in the last half. I had already had another sandwich for lunch so it was personal preference and situational. The fries were delicious with local cheese and house made gravy. Service was good, even though we did end up having to arrive late. Never felt rushed to leave even though we closed them down. We also had an emergency issue about 10:45 and the owner responded very quickly to the email we sent and was there within ten minutes to help us retrieve the forgotten item. Aaron was a lifesaver and seems like someone who is super easy to jive with. I will be thrilled to go back and try other items on the menu. It’s so wonderful that it is built on local fare and not what’s cheapest from the factory farms. Aaron even took the feedback about my partner’s veg burger being a less than wonderful texture and seemed open to some ideas about adjusting the cooking style. Thank you deeply for holding such high values.

Super chill place to hang and enjoy a bite and drink with friends and family. I left my work keys there and unfortunately they were closed but I sent Aaron an email and he was super nice to reply and meet me at his restaurant to retrieve them for me. Thank you Aaron! Looking forward to next time we stop in Marion!

Casual, family friendly local eatery / pub with locally sourced food that has a mountain cuisine influence. (For example, where else can you get a livermush sandwich?) Friendly staff and great service, too. We ate outside on the patio, at the counter top the ceiling. Restaurant is right on Main Street, so there was traffic noise, but it was quite pleasant.

Stopped by for dinner after a drink @ MTB next door. Cool country diner vibe inside, immediately made me want to order breakfast. Service was great, quick, and friendly. Drinks were made from scratch and looked and tasted excellent, but I'm not convinced they had any alcohol in them. Really the only negative aspect of the visit considering the mixed drink prices are all in the double digits. There is an extensive local beer list and a half dozen or so on tap. This seems to be the way to go on future visits. The food was excellent, and the pimento cheese and okra burger I had might be the best burger I've ever had. Similar vibes were shared from the rest of the table on all accounts. Try the burgers, but skip the mixed drinks and order a beer instead!

Amazing food with all locally sourced ingredients. Be sure to check out their Facebook page to stay up to date on daily specials and upcoming events. I can with 100% confidence say that they serve the best Carolina style burger you'll ever have. I can't speak on the pizza, but judging from the tables next to me, and the many faces of each person reacting as if they just entered their own personal heaven, it has to be good! Great prices, great service, and truly a gem!

Street parking was easy to find when we went for dinner. Restaurant had a good atmosphere. They have a lot of vegetarian options. Good cocktails available. Margarita pizza was excellent. My friend had the Woodstock pizza and it was the closest thing to a "salad pizza" we have ever had in our lives. There was no cheese and it left a lot to be desired. Lesson learned. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food came quickly. I would visit again.
