Excellent service and Amazing Food.
First visit was the curry which was 8months ago.
When for the second time 16th March, where I had the beef stroganoff with rice, Roast Potatoes along with a cheese and onion quiche. This was from a buffet menu which was also great. Highly recommended. Well done to the staff and students that run it.

From the moment we were shown to our seats to leaving has been a beautiful experience, our waitress Annibell was just so nice and professional all the staff were the same,the quality of the food was second to none,so we'll done all you students,can't believe I've worked there three and half years and never visited, but will definitely return,lovely pleasant afternoon.

Went with my partner to the wine tasting we ith z set menu absolutely loved it, fantastic service from the waitress and waiter my partner got on really well with Danny, same daft sense of humour, he told us he's finishing the course soon and has a permanent job. I'm already looking to book again

We were treated to dinner at Refined as a Christmas gift with friends. What a wonderful experience in a really lovely and relaxing environment. I love that the restaurant is run entirely by students as part of the hospitality courses run at the college, whilst being supervised by tutors, giving the students a real to life experience of working in the sector. We were having the seafood tasting menu and inwas delighted by every course. The food was prepared and cooked and served in a professional manner. Our party of four all had different favourites, I was so impressed by everything. My only critique being that we were not told which each dish was at it was served. Such amazing value and a great opportunity to support the students. I will definitely return.

What a fantastic return for refined tonight! Me and my partner were extremely impressed with the fantastic service and tasty food! Refined is truly a hidden gem and you have to come to appreciate just how amazing this restaurant is. The new location of the restaurant is a massive improvement and it looks absolutely stunning! The students who served us tonight were all fabulous and they’re sure to do well in their time with you! Tonight, The themed evening was pub classics and I’m sure to say it was executed beautifully! The food was top standard and you’re sure not to find not too many places in the Mansfield area that can compete with the quality of the food and it’s price. Thank you for such a lovely evening refined and a big shout out to Clara for running the evening so well and professionally. We cannot wait for our next return, we certainly won’t be leaving it late! 😋

Really excellent food. It was the Graduation Tasting Menu. Absolutely brilliant. The only one negative thing in the entire 7 course menu was the wild garlic sauce, which was like wasabe, but I'll be able to taste garlic tomorrow evening.
The rest...sublime. From the starters right through to the dessert, perfect balance of flavours, textures and temperatures - the compressed tomato quarters were an unexpected delight, I simply didn't think it was possible to cram that much flavour into something so small without it being overwhelming. I can't praise it enough.

We have been dining at Refined for the past six years and have always enjoyed the food on offer. The themed evenings are a joy to behold, the students who serve us and those in the kitchen are a credit to the college, we get to know them individually but unfortunately come June many of them leave and we always miss them. If you can't get to the evening meals the lunches are very good value for money, and are also excellent.

First visit , Went for my daughters graduation night , We was amazed how well the front of house students were,service was top notch,kitchen students was amazing, the food was gorgeous and the quality of food was outstanding, wouldn't expect this quality from such young student but was blown away with the whole experience . Thanks for a fantastic night, well done to everyone who graduated last night you all should be extremely proud of yourselves , good luck for the future to all x

Went on Thursday gourmet evening and the food was generally very good and unusual styles not often found at this price and locality. Service was a bit stilted but this is a trainee restaurant so allowances should be made. Nothing serious and all staff were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return.
