Great fish and chips, freshly cooked and portions more than adequate for a healthy appetite.
Very friendly staff and good value for money.
Will definitely stop there again when next in the area.

Been here a couple of times now for some chips. Have to say it’s lovely, haven’t tried the fish yet but if it’s anything like the chips it’s a good thing

giving one star for turning up late :O)) get a grip.
It's a good old fashioned honest chippy, if you want the Ritz go to the Ritz.

Having lived here for well over 55 years I've seen it handed down from father to son and the quality has always been maintained and very reasonable price for every one great value for money always freshly cooked I can't speak anymore highly recommended for great food it has been the corner stone of the high street and the 2nd longest business I think in this town

This is the best fish and chips around Manningtree. The owners are very polite and take an interest in thier customers when they have time to chat. But are usually very busy as people know how good thier food tastes.

Chilvers Fish & Chips are Thee Very Best money can buy.
Always freshly cooked and so yummy scummy.
If asked, the friendly lady and gentleman will always double cook your chips, making them super crunchy.
We look forward to indulging ourselves whenever we are in the area.
I very often finish them before getting home or go down to Mistley to eat them.
Tonight is the night, can't wait.
