Stopped in for a quick bite while in Manitowoc. I have been here before, but it was 5 or so years ago. Great menu and many options.
The server was very helpful and there were quite a few people that had come in for carry out. Service was fast and food was good.
I tried the pork sandwich, fish sandwich and their made from scratch onion rings. All three were delicious and filling. I would highly recommend Late’s to those seeking casual fare.

Love this old-school restaurant and their tasty food and treats. The employees are quick on their feet and fun to work with. Lots of great choices, so we'll keep going back to try more.

Great place for a burger. Gypsy had a pizza burger and cheese curds. I had a baccon cheese burger with onion rings. We will definitely return when we are in the area. We also recommend stopping by if you are traveling near Late's.

Watching 2 groups of 2 order and get their food before we even order? Hmmm. Cute place though. Local flavor. Eggs undercooked. Raw gooey white. Not a fan of that. Wait staff appear ambivalent.

We needed a quick bit to eat before getting onto the Badger, and this was the perfect spot. We got our food within 10 minutes of sitting down. Though we didn’t have a milk shake, they looked really good, and had a huge variety of flavors. Since we were in Wisconsin we had to get a brat and cheese curds, both were pretty good, but a negative was that the food was very salty

Always an exceptional place to go. Great food, great service, great price. Food tastes like when I was a kid and we could afford to go eat somewhere. Especially loved their poppy seed torte they made. Tasted ALMOST as good as my Mom's. Delicious custard 🥧 filling. Variety of pastries! When we get home (originally from TRivers) we get there to eat!

Classic, old school traditional diner and malt shop. The malts are so good and a bunch of good flavors. And the fried mushrooms and cheese curds are a must try. The original cheese burgers are very tasty and remind me of the old drive-up grilled burgers. If you are in the area and want to eat at a place near the lakeshore...this is historically spot on food.

My family & friends and I have been dining here off and on since the 1980s. Always great food, service and a 20th century atmosphere. No, I'm not being sarcastic! Depending on your age, this place will feel like you stepped back in time to a far more peaceful moment. They have the option to call orders ahead for take out, or simply dine in. You can sit at the counter, or tables. Price of food is still fair, and good desert sections too. Nostalgia for me, new memories to be made by you and yours.
