You advertise to close at 10 pm on Sunday’s.<br/>On arrival to just over an hour before closing you have advised that your closed and last orders are at 8.45pm. An hour and 15 minutes before you close. <br/>It’s a bit of a stretch that an hour before you advertise to be closed that you tell me people your closed and last orders are already complete at 8.45 pm.<br/>If that’s the case please change your opening hours. Or note when last orders are online. <br/>As your setting the wrong expectations.

I didn’t like my experience before when I visited Ippudo in Uptown so after that I really didn’t like to go back. My friend was craving for Ramen and we saw Ippudo in Rockwell Powerplant.<br/><br/>Now this is a completely different experience. The place was lovely, cleaner and the service was excellent. We were assisted well.<br/><br/>My friend ordered ramen and he enjoyed it. I ordered their Karaage and added rice. Actual rating: 3.3<br/><br/>I had this ramen that doesn’t appear in their online menus and I cannot remember the name. Basta, it’s this one with pork chashu cuts with pork-chicken combo broth with aji tamago that comes with it, plus the noodles are relatively thicker than the usual. I think those were egg noodles. Well, I’ve always been a fan of Mendokoro and Nagi, so I think my tastebuds are kinda craving for very rich types of broth. In this case however, I felt that while the pork-chicken combo broth was tasty and delicious, it lacked the richness I was looking for.<br/><br/>The aji tamago was cooked perfectly, that’s a plus. The pork chashu meat was also marinated well, giving that salty yet refreshing flavor of the meat. It was also thinly sliced with balanced amount of fat, keeping the meat tender without being too fatty nor too dry/stiff. The seaweed likewise complimented the dish balancing the oiliness and the flavor of the broth.<br/><br/>Not sure if it’s just me, but a lot of people love this place. However, I’m not one of them. Still commend them for their service in this branch though, they’re quick and efficient.

Their service is one the best I've experienced. Everyone is so pleasant and accommodating. On a friday, I tried their new Mushroom Ramen. It was served to me quickly and it was hot when they served it. The soup itself was very flavorful. I think the overall dish lacked a bit of the broth. It was a bit dry. They were not stingy on the mushrooms though.

Ippudo will not disappoint you with their thick and exceptionally tasty ramen broth. 🍜🍜 If you're thinking of giving it a try, I think it would be best to come here with an empty stomach as one serving with leave you extremely full for hours. <br/><br/>As for its set up, there are tables that are designed to be shared and consumed with fellow Ramen lovers as to utilized the limited space. My friend and I shared a table and it did not became a problem.<br/><br/>**Shiromaru Special with hard noodles, being the classic ramen with milky and light broth, is my personal choice. Itadakemasu!!!

I finally got to try their version of Tantanmen, and my, it does have a fiery kick! Perhaps, a bit too spicy for the normal eater, if I may say, but I'm jot complaining for I love spicy food. The rich, and creamy nuttiness of the broth complimented well the spiciness, and the texture of the noodles. Also, I got to try their sushi rolls, and they were good! Not spectacular, but then again, it's a ramen house, and it would be stupid of me to look for a stellar sushi roll. But heck, for the Tantanmen, they deserve a high score!

I've always loved Ippudo so on a rainy day we decided to eat here. I got the Yokohama special while my boyfriend got the Tantanmen. I loved the Yokohama special. I usually don't order anything other than the Akamaru special whenever I eat at Ippudo but my boyfriend encouraged me to try something new. The broth was rich and savory. I had my noodles in medium since they said the noodles they had for the Yokohama special were already pretty hard so they offered it in either soft or medium in terms of the texture. The egg was good too and the mix of vegetables was wonderful. My boyfriend enjoyed his own bowl of ramen as well. The spiciness of their Tantanmen just kicks in at the end. I was pretty happy with my order. 🤗

So good to be back home eating ramen after a two week trip.<br/><br/>Ippudo serves reliable and yummy ramen. I had the Akamaru Special with yummy Tonkotsu broth mixed with miso paste and garlic oil, tasty pork belly slices and soft boiled egg. I had the thin noodles done to medium hardness. The broth hits the spot with mild spiciness.

Even the bad weather last Sunday didn't stop us from going outside to look for ramen to warm our empty stomachs. Good thing, Ippudo branch out in Rockwell. Finally, a branch closer to our place. There was a long queue when we arrived but the turn-over was so fast, so waiting wasn't an issue. <br/><br/>We had Akamaru Special, Karaka Special and Okonomiyaki. <br/><br/>We started with Okonomiyaki. It looks beautiful and appetizing. The uniqueness of this dish blown us away. It was our first time to see an Okonomiyaki with Tender Chashu on top. Great job on this. The taste was pretty good. <br/><br/>For the ramen, Ippudo's broth was light and tasty. We didn't like much their broth. The noodles were too thin for me. The chashu was tender and delicious. Their ramen may be good but not the best out there. <br/><br/>Customer service was excellent from the frontman to the server. They're so alert and very attentive. <br/><br/>Overall, it was a good dining experience.

Ramen Friday cravings! Ippudo is always a good choice for ramen. Not the best, but one of the best. Got the Shiromaru Special and the Tongkatsu broth is bold and rich. The Chashu was tender and juicy. Super delish! Also got the Okonomiyaki and Gyoza and both were just as good. The tummy is always happy at this place.
