Bierock

I'm ashamed to say this is my first time here and it's right in my neighborhood. We went for Burger week and was it worth it. The Nebraska burger, white aged cheddar, caramelized onions in brown sugar on a pretzel bun. Simply delicious. For dessert we had the Caramel Apple Bierock served with a side of caramel sauce. Needless to say, this is my new favorite neighborhood bar. Great service.

A friend recommended the food here and it did not disappoint! I didn't know what a Bierock was so ordering them was a given. I ordered the Lamb Bierock and my friend ordered the Southwest Bierock for pick-up. The food was done on time and ready for pick-up. And the staff is super friendly! Each meal came with a pickle, bag of chips and some dipping sauce for the Bierock's. I did like the Southwest better than the lamb. Next time we will try the burgers! Highly recommended!

The beer selection was not only large but filled with very delicious selections. The staff were very attentive and worked extremely hard to make sure we felt comfortable. The food was good but not great. I don’t want to make a blanket judgment though because we just got appetizers. It’s nice to have a place like this in the Sherman/Northport area. I will definitely be back.

I placed my order for curbside pickup via phone. My order was promptly brought to my car at the promised time - but without a credit card receipt. I had to call back & find out the charged amount. I ordered the Nebraska burger for the Madison Burger Week special deal. I upgraded to potato wedges & also ordered a side of Mushroom Stoganoff. The burger was very tasty, juicy & clearly made from fresh beef, which is sourced locally. Burger toppings were sautéed onions & Cheddar cheese - I skipped the kraut. I detected a bit of a sweet taste which must be from the onions. Overall, a very good burger. I will order a burger from Bierock again!! The potato wedges & mushroom stroganoff were also tasty but nothing special. I would also order both again. I'm not sure what all is included in the seasoning on the wedges but it seemed like I detected an almost vinegar-y flavor. This did not detract from their tastiest though. This was my first time ordering from Bierock & I will definitely order again - but next time I'll try to remember to request a receipt as it was neither offered nor provided as it should be.
