Came here for a birthday and it was perfect! The staff is so kind, the chefs are fantastic, the presentation is beautiful, and you get a LOT of wonderful food at a good price. I got the scallops and filet; and they were better tasting/better cooked than most of the places around here that charge $48 per steak! I got a decent sized filet mignon, large scallops, veggies, fried rice, soup, and a salad for ~$30. It was a great night!

Fresh and delicious Chinese food. Got the 4/$50 Whole fried fish with special sauce, spicy squid, spicy shrimp, and beef brisket with tofu. Generous amount. Waitess was super nice and friendly.

This place is racist & the Asian females that serve you in the dining room were nice and kind to the white people there but rude and disrespectful to me and my father. I said please & thank you in every interaction. They would not greet me with the same courtesy. The lady snatched my cup outta my hand to refill it with water. We were the only black people in the restaurant and barely got any service. This is my second time coming here and receiving this type of service. Even the cook was rude when he brought the food out. Overall I feel this place is extremely racist and I will never go back. I spent over $100 here on 2 meals not including my 20% tip.

Made a reservation to celebrate a birthday. First time visiting this place. We had high hopes because the person on the phone told us we would love it! We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and had to wait to be seated (this is fine, as it was pretty busy.) Once seated a waitress came over to get our drink orders. When she came with our drinks she handed them out to the wrong people - this was easy to correct. Then she took our orders. She had a hard time hearing us over the fan and we had a hard time hearing what she was asking. She tried to skip some people ordering due to being unable to hear. After our orders were in and the chef arrived - the waitress never came back! We never got our white rice, and no refills for drinks, even when we tried to flag someone down. We had to ask for boxes and for the check. The food was alright, not as good as some other local restaurants, and the service was TERRIBLE. They also charge an 18% COVID surcharge on the bill (the sign is at the entrance.) Unfortunately, the wait staff should consider that the tip with service like what we received. We did give a separate tip to the chef - he was wonderful to watch cook.

The food was good, the service not so much. Our party reserved a week in advance, so they knew there'd be 23 people. I'm okay with there only being one chef for 23 people (no workers) (by the time you got whole order, food is cold).What I'm not okay with is the waitress neglected to tell the chef about my side order of noodles. When I asked him about it, he said they weren't ordered. He sent a waitress who said I didn't order them. I assured her I did. she came back 10 minutes later with noodles and told me $3 for noodles. I was done eating and told her I didn't want them now. She told me, "it's only $3." I told her they'd just made $500 off this bill, which the person paying the bill saw charges for things ordered and not received and things not ordered but applied to bill and after sorting that out you want to make a big deal about something you forgot to put in order and tell me what it "only cost"; since it's only $3 you take the hit on that. I understand that every place is short staffed, and employees may be overwhelmed and overworked, so I give grace for that, and I tip well. I did not appreciate the waitress attitude.

Im not the type of person to worry about price at a restaurant. Typically I order what I like and happily pay the bill. I tend to leave 20% gratuity as well. I think this is the first time I have ever had sticker shock from a restaurant. The quality of the food is the only thing that got this place some stars. When you enter the building there are cases of liquor everywhere and a lot of confusion. We made reservations for our family of 5 and were hassled when we said we wanted 5 menus. My daughter doesn't need one was the attitude. Once seated the server was very rude and pushy for us to make our order. We were hoping for some sushi as an appetizer but it wasn't delivered until the chef was finishing. We also got to witness the same rude waitress hustling a customer that simply wanted some yum yum sauce. Once we received our bill I was blown away at the price. So we will definitely NOT return. My message to Sogun is premium price requires premium service.

We had reservations for 7:00 p.m. but did not get seated until almost 9:00... We had a large party. They were very nice and bought us a drink while we waited. That was awesome customer service! Food was wonderful as per usual!

18% charge for COVID!!! Good job that was your tip! Plus other mystery charges. Server and cook were good. Food was okay. But shame on the greedy owners!!! extra charges for NOTHING!!! Will never waste money here again! Osaka's is WAY better.
