Visited the pub earlier today. Lovely food, staff and owner are friendly and very helpful, dog friendly which is a bonus - will definitely return.

Gutted they've changed the menu - been loads of times over the years & always had halloumi, chips and peas (alternative to fish n'chips) but this now isn't available. Had halloumi on ciabatta and it was delicious so after initial disappointment, no complaints! Fast delivery and lovely staff.

Had a lovely time at the blacksmiths as usual. The food was nice but our service definitely made the night. We were served by Jordan and he was just amazing, had a laugh and definitely felt cared for. 10/10 would recommend Jordan and the rest of the team at the blacksmiths

Went for lunch with the family. Good choice of food for a chain pub. The specials were very good. Korean chicken was a delicious platter of kimchi, fried chicken, roast chicken and salad with rice. The pulled lamb flatbread was quite delicious too. Service was extremely polite, efficient and helpful. Many thanks to Holly for being a wonderful hostess. All the dishes were freshly prepared and served quite quickly too. The best of all was a very reasonable bill at the end, excellent value for money too

My wife and I had a very pleasant meal at lunchtime today. It's no surprise, as we go there from time to time, even though it's not that close to home, so we know will will have an enjoyable meal. The food is good; the service is good and the atmosphere is very pleasant. In fact, I can't thing of anything about the place which isn't good. We will obviously be visiting again before too long.

We went for a weekday evening meal . Quiet atmosphere but a few people in. Very welcoming staff. The decor was conjusive to a relaxing vibe. Food prompt and faultless and very tasty. A good experience.

We visited the Blacksmiths Arms for the first time today (June 2023)…. What a lovely experience. The bar and restaurant are very comfortably furnished in old English county style with plenty of space around the tables so things arn’t too cramped. The food was very well presented and cooked which is exactly what we expect from this Chef and Brewer brand. Holly & Jordan looked after us really well from start to finish. There’s a very large car park attached to the premises which together with a nice beer garden to the rear make for a relaxing experience. We will definitely return.
