Basila

Hey Lucknowites! How are you doing? :-) I have good news, there is a new restaurant (The Basila) opened at the river side mall, gomti nagar. I visited recently for the bloggers meet. What all I had - Bharwa Zafrani Aaloo - Stuffed with (nuts, mawa & saffron) cooked in clay pot, so you get that perfect aroma & taste. Khumb Ke Galowti Kebabs- it is a perfect vegetarian starters made with (mushroom) & it is amazing! Must eat Subz Seekh Kebabs- made with vegetables & perfect taste! Soft and very tender, must try. Barra lamb chaap- nice & big pieces of mutton chaap, it was yummy Murg nawabi tikka- this was so good, nice & tender chicken marinated well & juicy chicken, a must try. Peshawari paneer tikka - this is a must order! Best dish for vegetarians actually. Mutton dum biryani with raita- was good. Desserts- apple jalebi, I like this new twist! Tasted yummy served with loads of rabdii on top ... Amazing Restaurant is very spacious and nice, very comfortable, also they have separate area for private family dinner. Overall I had really good experience! So guys go for it, I am sure you all will love it. Best wishes & thank you.

New place in town to tickle your taste buds at basila by the riverfront.Its a an amazing fine dine resturant serving authentic awadhi and north indian food ,they also have private seating area for friends and family get together , with beautifull ambience that you will fall in love with ,you can also see your food being cooked as they have their live kitchen, with friendly staff service .Moving to food ,tired many veg . dishhes namely -- . Khumb ki gilawat (was accompained with ulta tava partha , kabab was madecwith mushroom and has perfect mixture of spices and flavour which just melted in my mouth ) . Subz seekh kabab (was nicely cooked was soft and tender ) . Bharwan zafrani aloo(its a whole potato stuffed with mawa , nuts.,saffron cooked in clay pot giving it desi touch , it just tasted divine....... Do try ) . Cranberry delight and fruit punch (both tasted well.) . Peshwari paneer tikka (paneer was soft and moist nicely coated cream curd and spices ) . Makani paneer (served with kulcha paratha was not so good .....i personally didn't liked it much ) .Veg pulao (was yumm) . Subz dum parda biryani (accompained with burani raita ......was awesome in taste and burani raita went really well with the biryani ) . Apple jalebi (this was an happy and blissfull ending to my meal .....these jalebi cooked with green apple soaked in frangrant syrup coated with rabdi.....highly recommended)

It was our first time in Lucknow and what a great experience we had with BASILA. We had veg food here, it was so tasty 😋 that we would definitely would love to have non vegetarian food here in our next visit to Lucknow. Perfect combination of quality and quantity. Great ambience, customer friendly staff. They give proper justification to their name 'Basila', 'Traditional Lucknow food'. Don't miss green apple jalebi, it was so unique & yummy..!!
