Ordered the Prime Rib heat & serve Holiday meal. Must say it was fantastic! Need to doctor up the green beans some but that was all. When warmed up correctly the prime rib was perfect. Only suggestion I have is to have instructions for warming the prime rib. I googled how & was definitely glad I did!!! Thanks for quality!!!

My wife and I visited Cracker Barrel on Wednesday evening. The Broccoli Cheddar Chicken is her favorite. It was our server Alberto's / Bert's first day. Bert is a natural and if he desires one day, he has management potential from day one! He is a very polite and personable young man. I enjoyed the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, pinto beans and turnip greens.
Everything was delicious!
Thank you and Merry Christmas!

The food was most excellent! I got my wife and I the big boy breakfast sausage eggs over easy toast orange juice, just that good good you feel me? But the service was a little lacking and on the slow side and I'm just going to let it ride this time- but next time they need to do better.

Today my daughter and I had brunch, i had Maple bacon grilled chicken and she had breakfast, French toast and impossible sausage. I love how accommodating they are since she is Muslim they informed her that they used bacon grease in their corn muffins. Plus our waitress was sweet and attentive while not being overly interrupting. The prices and atmosphere are relatively relaxing too

We paid our recent First Visit to this Cracker Barrel and had a mostly great time. We decided to go on Sunday morning so we kinda knew we were in for chaos, but we braced for it.
Cracker Barrel follows the same concept as Las Vegas hotels. In order to get to the good part (the food, or in Vegas's case, the hotel/shops/etc) you have go through the money making part (the Old Country Store or, in Vegas's case, the casino). It makes me wonder what came first, the store or the restaurant. No matter, it's all a part of the Cracker Barrel experience.
Once we (forcibly) made our way through people meandering through the store to get to the hostess stand we were able to get on the list. A 15 minute wait isn't bad, so we did a little shopping. The Cracker Barrel merchandisers are next-level in their skills because there is, quite literally, more stuff in this store than there is space in this store. From Holiday merchandise to clothing to toys to music (vinyl, even!) to stuffed animals, they pack A LOT of stuff in this retail space. My favorite, though, is the old-time candy and soft drink area. Here they boast of a number of candies that I haven't seen since childhood (or, at least, since my last visit to a Cracker Barrel). Right next to that is the beauty that is glass-bottle soft drinks. In this day of plastic pop bottles and 12-oz cans, NOTHING compares to a soft drink in a glass bottle. Spotting Vernor's in a glass bottle was a HUGE score. I'm from Michigan and, even though we haven't live in MI since 2011, still seek out Vernor's (although it's in the dreaded 12-oz can) and have it every week.
After about 10 minutes of shopping we were called for a table...and then it felt like we were forgotten. The staff all around us was constantly in motion, but no one paid us any mind until close to 15 minutes after we were seated. I had just told my wife that I wasn't planning on waiting much longer when our server showed up. Her name was Tammy and you could tell she was running around like crazy. We had had plenty of time to look at the menu so we placed our drink orders and our meal orders at the same time. What I wanted when I walked in was lunch (we were given breakfast menus), but something on the menu caught my eye.
Pancake Tacos.
Yes, Pancake Tacos.
Ok, so much for ordering off the lunch menu. Fried eggs, bacon, and cheese inside a Cracker Barrel pancake? #NotAHardSell #SigneMeUp #WhereHasThisBeenAllMyLife
After placing our orders she brought out those appetite-killing biscuits. You know, the ones you know should only eat one of, but you eat two because you're hungry and then you can't finish your meal because you ate that second biscuit? Those. And they are SO freakin' good.
When our food arrived it was hot and perfect. Wifey had the hashbrown casserole and I had the Pancake Tacos (which are so good they should always be capitalized). Deliciousness Ensued. however...HOWEVER...those biscuits did me in. Alas, I could only eat one of my Pancake Tacos. It's rare, but I had to get a to-go box. Wifey did as well. (side note: they both reheat well for brekkie the next day).
It's a safe bet that each and every staff member at this (and probably all other) locations gets their step goal every day. The entire team was constantly hustling and making sure table were cleaned, items were stocked, refills were refilled, and customers had a great experience.
On the way out we purchased several bottles of Vernor's (in the glass bottle, of course) and a box of their biscuit mix. I really should make a visit to Cracker Barrel more regularly, but for now I'm all set. Besides, it's been 4 days and I'm still full from that second biscuit. :)

I hate their gravy. It is always so thick you have to slice it with a knife. I like my eggs over easy and the yellow is always to done. They do have the best pancakes. I also think their prices are to high.

I was in a horrible mood today when I needed to eat some food. Just frustrated with life so to speak. After getting a table this beautiful angel came to my table and had this positive energy that just wanted to say yes to anything she suggested. I just wanted food but her knowledge of the menu to be able to drive me in the right direction for the best experience possible was extraordinary. I told her that I was really hungry so she suggested to get the signature fried homestyle chicken. Wow, that was a lot of food.. She also suggested for me to relax, and have a beer which was really nice and cold when it arrived to my table. Halfway through the meal and beer. The manager stopped by. Really nice sweet woman that just wanted to check on me to make sure I had everything I needed. Brittany friendly and chitchat with me for a few minutes. They both offer me biscuits and cornbread but unfortunately I was already full from the southern fried homestyle chicken. You actually get two chicken breast, Who does that these days? The food was amazing, piping hot. I was really surprised with the excellent customer service from both the manager Brittany and server April.. Somebody should give them a raise because you don’t find them like that anymore!
Needless to say, I left full and with a smile on my face. I left her a nice comment and tip at the cashiers up front. I hope she got both.. I wanted to share my experience because lately all you hear about is the negativity so I wanted to share so that people come and see these two great humans.

Stephanie was a very kind server. I don’t know why she only has 2 stars as I think she deserves more. She was very attentive and efficient. The food came out in a timely manner and I didn’t need to ask for anything. Will come back.

Good food. Fun place to look around while you wait for a table. Consistently good.
