Have always enjoyed the pizza and beer with their Van Nuys location as Highland Park spot doesn't disappoint. Pizza was fantastic with full MacLeod beer selection.

Nice spot on the south end of York to share beers and hang with friends! Plenty of seating indoors with a nice enclosed patio in back. Darts, board games, etc. seating for two or large parties. Pizza is solid with a good variety of in-house beers.🍻

We had no expectations coming here, but the beer was awesome and the Greek salad with chicken was one of rhe best salads of my life. The pizza and Italian pretzel were also very good.

Best vegan pizza.
They have vegan pepperoni and vegan cheese. You can taste their beer before buying them. And they were amazing 🍺🍻
The staff are so kindly and patient, and the atmosphere is good and it’s pet friendly.

Total eastside gem – and an ideal local hangout for families and larger groups. We have two small children and this is just the perfect spot for us to bring them so we can enjoy some pints and our toddler can run around.
Overall, Macleod on York fills the "classic pub" need in Highland Park with a great patio, delicious pizzas (that are super affordable), and a solid brewing program. Speaking of which, make sure you try the Cask Ales; it's a rare (for the US) style that is a nice, easily drinkable diversion to the usual IPA scene.

Amazing beer and food!! Some of the best beer in LA, lots of unique options like cask ale. They have a cellar room that’s more of a brewery feel, and another area that is more like a pizza restaurant. There’s something here for everyone. Love the spicy Calabrian pizza sauce and Greek salad 😋
