5 Star lunch! This was our first visit and wow, this place has a sizable menu to chose breakfast or lunch from. Today we ordered regular size Three cheese Grilled Cheese, regular sized Chipotle Grilled Chicken sandwich and the large sized Beer Braised Brisket sandwich. All sandwiches are served with house-made lattice cut potato chips. We also ordered a side of German Potato Salad. They served each of us a fresh hush puppy to try and it was tasty with a lite kick of jalapeño at the end. They make their own bread in house which is tasty and soft. Everything is very flavorful. The meats were very tasty and even though the chicken was spiced with chipotle it was not too spicy at all. They recommended the Beer Braised brisket and it did not disappoint. Very nice flavor and very moist and tender. We met the owners who spent some time sharing the menu with us. The staff is nice and friendly. The small cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating. We live about 45 minutes away and this is where Yelp brought us to on our visit to Longwood. The is definitely a great place to experience.

First visit- was offered a sample of the jalapeno corn fritter with remoulade,a little too crispy on the outside,but taste and sauce was good.they are tasty And the heat is mild.chicken BLT was very good,larger than expected and house made chips are fresh and seasoned. Cheese burger was very flavourful and on a bed of arugula and black beans instead of bun.only a handful of tables available inside,and a lot of to go orders were bieng picked up. Staff is friendly,would definitely try other items on menu ,it was hard to choose.

I love this place! The owners are some of the most hospitable group od people that I have met. Everything that I have tried from here is amazing . My favorite is the crunchy chicken sandwich which has kind of ruined have a chicken sandwich from other places. Things come out fresh and piping hot which is awesome. They also have great hush puppies. I'm definitely not one to ever like hush puppies but the ones here are great.

I been trying to stop in here since they opened and boy did they not disappoint. I entered Aj's and was greeted by Andy (owner) and daughter. She told me the favorites on the menu and gave us 2 hush puppies as a sample and they were delicious. Jalepeno and bacon hush puppies with a mild sauce A+. I ordered the brisket sandwich and the pork mojo sandwich. Both sandwiches were A+, very flavorful, bread was soft yet crispy. Being a former New Yorker myself I highly recommend Aj's and I will be back for sure. A+ food A+ service! 2nd visit: Once again AJ's did not disappoint, I had the crispy chicken sandwich with a cup of chilie and the chicken sandwich BLT. Both sandwiches are flavorful, fresh and will leave you satisfied. Cup of chilie was also fresh, with a mild spice and plenty of meat inside. The staff is super friendly, welcoming and accommodating to all customers.

A friend of mine recommended it. I had the Cuban sandwich and I also had some of the jalapeno hush puppies. The sandwich was outstanding and the hush puppies were the first ones I have ever liked to my life. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back. My friend had one of the breakfast bowls and said he has never had a bad meal there. Everything has always been outstanding.

Absolutely amazing flavors! I had the Chipotle chicken pressed sandwich. The black beans and the sauce and cheese and the WHOLE DARN SANDWICH! *actively drooling thinking about it* Also the fact that this is a family owned/family run shop. The service here is something to be modeled after. Andy, I loved this experience and will definitely return, VERY SOON.
