Hupei

The food was soggy, bland, and gross. We took one bite of our food, then asked for the manager. He tried to get us to pay for food we didn't eat. When he realized that wasn't going to happen he insisted we pay for drinks we also didn't drink. We finally paid for the drinks just so we could leave peacefully. Horrible management, disgusting food. Do not eat here!

I used to come to this place every Sunday with family as a child. It used to be so amazing. The customer service from the man running it at that time(older guy we just called Hupei as we thought he might have been the owner) was impeccable. It had been a while since I’d been since I moved away a couple years later. I come back to visit a few times a year and try to stop by at least once a year. It’s always been great. This time that I came to dine in(March), I was happy to see that they took Covid precautions with sanitation, seating, gloves for customers, and eating utensils. I was only disappointed that the food taste and quality had gone down significantly. This made me super sad has it is a child hood staple. I don’t know if I’d be returning. I was super dissatisfied. I guess time will tell.

I am done with this place today was the third time that I've been there, trying to give them more than enough chances I had taken my son there on his birthday in December 2020 because he loves Chinese food and trying to give him a nice day, I took him there to surprise him, we was very disappointed, we both ended up nauseous and sick after leaving there. So I didn't go back for a long time not until this year. About 2 weeks ago, we went in there with my best friend to have lunch service was somewhat ok, I've had better, and food was not that great.. Well, today seems how my husband was at work, my son and I and my best friend, went in there again, we asked for extra napkins were only given 3 napkins, which was not enough, the waiter never came back to check on us, never asked us, if we needed refills, we all ran out of our drinks had to find that knapkins on her own.. And when the waiter finally did come back, it was to give us our check, which was wrong because we had already told him it was going to be 2 separate checks, so he had to take that back, we asked him if we could get to go drinks, didn't bring the go drinks, and we asked him about why he never came to the table to ask if we needed anything or check on us, he got very rude, stuck up his hand in the air and just walked off. If this is the way they're going to treat their customers and they're going to have food, that is not that great and make people sick. They don't need to be open and running a restaurant. It's a shame when you want good Chinese food, you can't find none.I'll be paying a little bit more expensive price and going to a better place, I guess it is true you pay for what you get, I'll pay that extra money and drive a little bit further to get good food and good service. So if you're looking for a good restaurant to take your family or just by yourself, or just to hang out with friends or anything I would not recommend going here at all

If I could I would give you no stars you are very disrespectful ( the manager) and have no respect for anyone but your self please just put ur two weeks in now cause you make everyone NEVER want to come back which I will not ever . Level up and get another cook to ya food is not good it’s always cold I’ve had a few other friends say the same when they went also and you are racist asfk we heard you talking about people while walking past are table . Made us want to leave

Enjoyed our time at New Hupei Chinese Restaurant. The food is always fresh and hubby enjoys the spicy dishes. It was very heartwarming to see the care the wait staff did with all the customers including providing a sanitation stand, gloves, plastic eating utensils, and cleansing of the tables to minimize contact between customers. Looking forward to our next visit!
