Just went here for a beer while staying at the next door hotel. The staff was friendly and the place had some live music going, although not of the quality I am use to from Chicago area bars. The beer list was extensive and had something for everyone.

Last visited about 3 years ago. Vowed then to never return due to deplorable staff and substandard food. I decided to give them a second chance.
Completely different experience.
Food was presented perfectly, and came out perfectly at the perfect time.
Amazing tap selection as well as bottles and cans. Good to see they still do the beer tours.
They seemed to have a pretty full house. This experience all while being seated in the bar area, on a Sunday at 9pm.

Pizza was fine, but my wings where dry.. the sauce was not spread out evenly, and they came out cold like they had been sitting under a heat lamp while my pizza was cooking...

Customer service here is next to NONE! I come here often & from the hosts to the management it is wonderful! All of the food is hearty and delicious- cooked to perfection,seriously!

What a horrible experience, been a while since we have been to this location and it will be the last. They didn't have 4 things we ordered. It took 20 minutes after we ordered to get our salad and our first drink. 1 hour 15 minutes after ordering we finally got our pizza. Waitress was doing her best with what she could control.

While the food is pretty average, our service here was phenomenal! We often get treated with annoyance when bringing our children to a restaurant in the area, but everyone here was so welcoming and friendly! Our server was amazing, and the manager made sure to tell us about all the family games out on the patio. The kids meals are great, and the food was out quickly. We will be making Old Chicago a Tuesday night regular!

Food was great, service was great! After being seated in an area of the restaurant (behind some large groups) where we were accidentally overlooked, Jacqueline (who was still in training), came over kindly apologizing and offering desserts or appetizers. We declined both but thought the offer was very kind. She then came back to tell us that the Manager was taking 25% off our entire bill. Completely unnecessary but impressed by the service! Manager also dropped by the table to apologize. We will definitely return!
