I first visited this restaurant in July 2021 after a two-week quarantine on moving back to UK, and it was a breath of fresh air. The kids loved the waffles, and Alex's creativity in making a chocolate malt milkshake was impressive. The warm hospitality and high-quality food made it a memorable experience. I'm sad to know the owners are leaving, but I'm happy they have a great opportunity ahead. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience while it is still around!

Cannot recommend this place enough. Met a friend there today and it was pure vibes.
Alex brought all round joy with his witty banter, amazing coffee making skills and knowledgeable recommendations for THE most delicious, creative food.
Music was ON POINT.
Will 100% be back. Loved it.

I came here for my Mrs birthday and the staff here made my day even better.

Portions are generous and they have been very accommodating if there is something on the board we don't want. The cocktails are *very* good 😍

Lovely local café with loads of vegan breakfast options. We went for the vegan brunch platter with sausages, bacon, pancakes, fruit, maple syrup, jam and whipped cream. The biscoff frothee coffee was divine! The owner is very friendly and gladly discuss any alternative options so don't be shy! Free wifi and garden dining (currently closed due to refurb).

This place is just charming and has such a great vibe. The coffees looked incredible and I very much enjoyed my iced Vietnamese blend. I tried one of the waffle boards and a scone with clotted cream and a cute little jar of jam. I also tried a custom smoothie/frozen drink which was fantastic, and their gin/lavender/lemon cocktail which was truly the best gin cocktail I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back!

Nice little local business. Unassuming from the exterior but conceals a veritable palace of tasty goodness.

Update: It was nice to see that the ambience, service and quality of food has remained the same if not better since my last visit. I loved how the each table had books on various different countries detailing factual information on them. The effort they put into this place from every aspect definitely makes this place a worthwhile visit.
This place has amazing ambience! Such a welcoming place. We were served by Chelsey and Ruby and I have to say they were genuinely amazing people. This place has a spacious garden area with plenty of seating which was an added bonus. They are child friendly and animal friendly also. For those that care this place also has free WiFi. I would highly recommend this hidden gem.

An absolute gem, I've only had good experiences here and excellent food. We've just tried the new menu with loaded nachos and the crispy duck waffle - both great and the waffle in particular was something else!
We've enjoyed breakfast and cocktails here before and everyone is just lovely.
If you're going for breakfast at the weekend book ahead as that's peak time.
Excited to come back for cream tea!

Absolutely love Wanderlust. We are regular visitors and have worked our way through the entire menu, yet to find a dish we don’t like. Alexander and the team have worked their socks off to keep things fresh and interesting with their live music, quiz nights and bottomless brunches. We are so lucky to have a place like this in Catford/Hither Green. If you’re local, you should definitely check it out, if you’re not so local…you should definitely check it out!
