Cozy and warm cafe with some of the best service I’ve ever had. Such kind workers and super polite. Atmosphere is fantastic with nice decor and great menu. MAKE SURE TO VISIT

I really loved the yummy umami katsu sandwich, and the accompanying salad made primarily of high quality greens was much needed. However, the best part of my experience at this cafe was the delightful conversation with the lively young women that work there.

Having lived in the area for a couple years now and experiencing my fair share of the local cafés, Current will forever have my heart. From the music (a good range from Duke Ellington to the Velvet Underground, never a weak song in the mix) to the food, which is filling without leaving you stuffed, there isn't much more one could ask for.
Great for people watching, studying, or a sweet catchup. And the matcha is delicious.

The only place I’ve found in London that does hojicha!
The atmosphere is lovely — very peaceful and calm.
I’ve tried the food here yet but it all looks delicious. Also the selection of teas looks really special!

Lovely little cafe in the backstreets of the City of London. Nice enough staff although not accurate about the blends they have. Offering a nice selection of unique beans.
Coffee - 8.0: although a dark roast it’s actually mild & creamy. Slightly sweet for my taste, not a fan of a refined sugar finish. The colouring is very light and I’d prefer a stronger feel. Overall, one of the better coffees I’ve had in London.

- spicy chicken katsu sando £8
popped by this cafe for a study session after seeing it recommended by a few others! there are plugs at most seats/tables and the staff are lovely as they don’t rush you to leave but i felt it was v chilly inside so i didn’t get as much work done as i wanted🥲
the sando was smaller than expected for the price and would’ve been nicer toasted but the katsu itself was very thick and juicy + they use wholemeal seeded bread so you are getting high quality ingredients! it also came with a seaweed cucumber salad on the side which was super refreshing and a nice little touch :’) not sure if i’d get the sando again tho bc the spice was from wasabi which i am not a huge fan of so i think next time i’d try the teriyaki or curry dishes bc they look so good!

Went inside café for first time but "Chinese foods" is my favourite!
Having Salmon Teriyaki with rice and side bowl of cucumber and sort of lecture or something like that with pot of green tea.
When I eat Salmon Teriyaki and rice, taste is outstanding!
Will visit again one day.
Would recommend for customer to eat there.
