Visited KFC at Ealing Broadway on several occasions now. One must commend the promptness of their service and the rather presentable nature of their packaging. The original recipe chicken, although palatable, struck me as a touch too saline for my refined palate. It lacks that quintessential crisp golden exterior one might expect. However, the crispy wings were quite the delight — perfectly golden and battered to satisfaction. Their chips are commendable but if one's sole intent is to indulge in fries, I would suggest a jaunt to Five Guys — simply sublime. KFC does offer an extensive selection, from chicken popcorns and strips to rice boxes and an assortment of burgers. For those inclined towards vegetarian options, there is an array to choose from. They've also curated a fine assortment of soft beverages, with healthier alternatives like Diet Coke in the offering. One point to note for the discerning diner, the poultry and meat served are not halal-certified.
