Very unimpressed. My meal was lackluster. The brewed tea tasted like wintergreen dip spit. Some hip-hop music was blaring while we pretty much ate in the dark.

The staff is super nice, authentic Mexican food. I love to have breakfast with my parents there. It's their favorite restaurant (both are past cooks, they're super picky). Great place to have a cup of coffee.

This Mex-Res was a authentic relief to my Latin heritage. If ever want to enjoy real mex food made by Mexicans this place will fill every quality of enjoyment you seek for a good experience while dinning out. Fun... Delicious and kareoke night on Friday.

I haven't had Tuesday tacos in months and after a long day was looking forward to it, got home, the chicken was burnt! We ordered 5 grilled chicken soft tacos, very disappointed.

Well now where do I begin, ordered the shrimp rancheros. The beans and the rice were cold the shrimp had more salt in it than I like so I mixed it in the bean and rice after I ask for the cook to heat everything up. Will I go back, I had been here before and had told myself that I wouldn't come back, thought I would try it out, shame on me, hope I don't do that again.

We usually go during Taco Tuesdays, but I see they have Burrito Wednesdays now. $0.99 tacos on Tuesday, and $2.50 (I think) burritos on Wednesday. Free salsa bar with purchase. The salsa bar is what brings us back.

Arrived at 10:30pm and they stated that the kitchen was close, yet sign says opened til 12 midnight and they had karaoke going on. Lost a good customer who was passing thru.

Ordered an enchilada and chimichanga. Enchilada was ok, bean and rice were good. Chimichanga contained almost only refried beans. Salsa tasted like it was diluted with Sprite. Recommend Floriano's down the street.
