Best brunch I've had in Leeds. Loved the buttermilk pancakes so much. Coffee was great too. Beautiful space to sit in and staff were really friendly. Enjoyed it so much we went back to try on an evening. Just as good. The French 75 cocktail was perfect. Highly recommend the Korean BBQ duck bites and the black pudding bon bons - genuine food heaven.

What a gem this place is. I decided to try Iroko after a friend recommended it to me after going to one of their Yakitori nights. Wow! Absolutely beautiful decor and atmosphere plus the staff were great! I had ordered the Karaage Fried Chicken Sandwich for brunch! oh my God! Even my hard done by Vegetarian friend was buzzing over the Vegi options! Why didn't someone tell me about this place sooner? My new happy place.

Fantastic little spot! The decor has a beautiful, neo-Scandinavian feel, minimalist but making a strong statement as to their style and substance. As soon as I came through the door I was greeted by an extremely friendly Geordie fellow, with one of the single most heart warming smiles I’ve ever seen, and was seated in a gorgeous, classic chair (my bottom can confirm they are real leather) and after ordering a Mocha and a bowl of water for my dog, I was treated to an amazing coffee from a delightful young man in a chequered shirt. The food was tremendous, I had the Vanguard Breakfast which is essentially a fantastic shakshuka, and after seeing the chef emerge from the kitchen from a moment it’s easy to see why the food is so good, he was so happy and clearly enjoying himself in this amazing little gem and that really shone through in the food. Will be visiting again.

Fantastic, personal service, in an intimate and stylish venue with great food! My partner and I went for the yakitori evening, which was exceptional. Great value for the perfectly prepared and presented dishes, with a good range of wines and cocktails to choose from. Would definitely recommend and certainly be back for more!
