Literally just come back from the best night out I’ve had in a long time! We arrived early and were seated straight away and the staff had the menus ready and drinks at the table in mere minutes. Honestly, it was that quick! We had a mix of tapas/starters and a main and each dish was a culinary delight. Seriously, I couldn’t fault a single part of the food. It was what you hope for from Michelin restaurants: homey atmosphere, good food and staff who are there at the drop of a hat. I wish I’d taken pictures of each dish because they were presented beautifully and you could tell the chef had put a lot of effort into getting it just right and the flavours, my god the flavours, they were mind blowing. I personally recommend the Steak Diane because that was truly melt in the mouth gorgeous and the peppercorn sauce was divine. I haven’t had peppercorn sauce that good since Hard Rock Cafe was still in Leeds which should give you a clue as to how nice it was. If you’re looking for a restaurant that can cater to a variety of tastes, makes sure everything is as you like it and are friendly and cheerful to boot, I can’t recommend Moreno’s highly enough. 10/10 will be back again and will be telling all my friends and family about it because this is truly a hidden gem!
