Chicken Express

Terrible. Yuck. Gross. Bleh. I ordered chicken strips and I’m pretty sure they weren’t cooked all the way. I ordered a roll AND a biscuit and was only given one out of the two. The roll was a good texture but the flavor was horrible. I asked for dipping sauce and received none. I ended up taking a bite of everything and throwing it in the trash. Horrible waste of my money and time. It took 15 minutes to get through the drive when I was the only car there. The employees were nice enough but it doesn’t make up for the other stuff.

Chicken was pretty good. But my fried pickles tasted like they were under a heat lamp for a hour, honestly freaking gross. The dining room was a mess even though I was the only one in the restaurant. Staff was rude and looked like they didn't want to be there. I had to listen to them complain about the other employees the whole time. With Bushs down the road why would I come back?

Quick service, but not very informative. The three strip plate had a small piece that was a little overcooked and too dry, a medium sized one that was done right and a thicker strip that was a little undercooked. But all were tender and flavorful. The sides were rather little and not that flavorful. The gravy portion had a good flavor, but was a little small. The sides tasted OK, but were probably straight out of a can or carton. Definitely not enough food for the price. Edible . . . yes, convenient . . . yes, looking forward to my next visit . . . not really.

Went in today. This Chicken Express is new, and is already poorly managed. I've been here three times, and won't be going a forth. Every time I go here, it seems empty, and doesn't appear to get a lot of business for good reason. The three times I've gone, they forgot a part of my order each time. The first time, I didn't check my order at the window and made it all the way home. Oh well... Didn't make that mistake again. Sure enough, the second time I went they forgot something again, but I caught it at the window. I decided to go a third time, and this was the last straw. First of all, they forgot part of my order (again). I get home, and these nasty fries are stale. What gives? I threw them away. Serving nasty stale fries is absolutely unacceptable. The chicken is usually good to eat as well, but it's soggy and nasty as well. Avoid this place at all costs. I'm so mad, I didn't even finish my meal before writing this. In fact, I ate one piece of chicken, and threw the rest away. Complete waste of money! I should have stuck with Bush's Chicken just down the street on Whitestone, but I decided to give this one more chance. Big mistake....

This location has recently opened. I went in for a combo meal. The interior is decorated to look rustic, complete with worn out looking walls and bad craftsmanship. However, the customer service experience was adequate and my meal was served quickly. It was the expected chicken express fare. It was clean and the drive thru was the majority of business on Sunday around 2:30 pm.

Came at night, bunch of kids goofing off and not managing the way things should be. This is at least the third time I’ve witnessed this. If you’re going to hire children at least make sure they can provide and make food without being lazy about it. Asked for a 3 piece meal and all they have cooked is wings and breasts, asked for a hot and spicy tender meal instead and the kid said “oh they’re not good, someone just came back and asked for a refund because they aren’t fresh and they’ve been out too long.” So why aren’t they making more? Goodness. If i have to drive to the liberty hill chicken express to receive fresh chicken i totally am from now on.
