The food is variable. Some days it's great, easily five stars. Other days it's overly salted, cold, or otherwise flawed. I recommend going inside instead of the drive thru so you can see the Super Greens before you buy them; quality seems to vary the most for those. Also noteworthy is that they will pack everything in paper instead of foam or plastic, if you request it. That's a welcome plus. Generally a good place if you want immediate Chinese food but if you're ok with a wait for table service there's better places in Lansing.

When I want Asian food take out I usually go to a local vendor (Ingcredible) but they have been closed a lot. Lucky for me PE is open and eager for business! I like PE. I like that they have a fairly huge variety of main dishes and that the food is always fresh. They also have HUGE beverage cups. A super plus in my book. The restaurant is always clean and the beverage station is orderly. One "bummer" is that if you do the Plate (two entrees plus a side) they consider rice or noodles to be a side. Odd. Almost every other Asian restaurant I've eaten at Rice/noodles are part of the basic order. Sides are usually egg/spring rolls or wonton. Something like that. Service in this store is three star cuz typically staff are so focused on filling the order, processing the customer and ringing them up that it's not much of a "human contact" experience. It would be nice to be greeted and thanked but that side, it's my new Asian take out place. Prices are a little higher than Ingcredible but the quality is also higher.

It is a very convenient place to use the drive thru. Most of the time, I am in and out. Ocasionally, there is a backup of cars in the drive thru. That should be expected for a place like this. The location is less than desirable and not in the best place in town. Food is always good, staff has always been good when I went.

Our family of 4 has ordered to-go from this location a handful of times and the experience is usually perfect or missing some items. It is a fave of the 8 year old so we won't stop giving it a shot. Family meal deal works best for us and the way they package it is ideal. Everything we need and labeled in one box. Pick up is easily accessible near the order queue. All in all, if you get what you order it's delicious. Website is incredibly easy which is always a Bonus.
