I made a bad review for this restaurant but now I have to take it back. We tried it again we got the El Ateco experience that we remembered! The tapopo salad was awesome!

My favorite item on the menu is the Topopo Salad. It's fresh and tasty every time, and I always get at least 2 meals out of it. It is BIG!! Lol. There are many other great items to be had as well, stop by soon 😁👌🏼

I love this little restaurant! The salsa is great, with just a bit of kick and wonderful flavor. The service is fast and friendly, and it's budget friendly.

I have been going to this place since I was a baby. Some of the best Mexican I have ever. I wish they would open in other cities and states. I live out of state now and wish I could jut have a tiny taste .. LOL

I recently dined at “El Azteco” on Saginaw St. in Lansing, Michigan, and it was a nostalgic and delightful experience. As a Mexican food enthusiast, I couldn’t resist ordering the “Shredded Beef Burrito” plate for the second time in a week, and it was nothing short of amazing. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the portion was generous.
I couldn’t help but reminisce about my younger days when I frequented this restaurant for lunch. Back then, my go-to order was the “Ranchero Burrito,” a side of nachos, and a schooner of beer. It was a combination that I cherished, and it’s been approximately four decades since I last enjoyed it at El Azteco.
The fact that this restaurant has maintained its high-quality, delicious Mexican cuisine over the years is a testament to its consistency and commitment to serving fantastic food. Whether you’re seeking a taste of nostalgia or simply in the mood for some outstanding Mexican fare, El Azteco on Saginaw St. in Lansing is a must-visit. It’s a trip down memory lane, filled with flavor and warmth.

El Azteco is one of my favorite places to go for lunch when I am in Lansing. I especially love their patio seating. It's a little oasis in the middle of hectic work days. The wait staff is incredibly friendly and kind. The food is delicious. I have tried something different each time I go and have not been disappointed yet.

Had a great experience at El Az last night. Sandy was our waitress and was amazing, very helpful and friendly, the best wait staff I have encountered in a long time. The topopo salad was the best I've ever had, and I've had many over the years. Definitely the best El Az around.

We sat outside on the patio. He was our companion munching on a nut! Husband loved his enchiladas de jocoques. I had the half size of the topopo salad. It just didn't taste the same as it normally does on this day.

Enjoyed a dinner out at El Azteco in Lansing. The patio was closed and our table was seated by the bar. The server was quite busy with tables in multiple sections. Our food was fresh and plentiful. Just wish we could have enjoyed the meal outside.
