Tuna Poke

This used to be our favorite place of all time and we have been coming here since 2018. We used to come here at least once a week for dinner. Once they changed owners it went downhill. We noticed portions were smaller and the ingredients were not as high of quality. Tonight we got poke for the last time. The crab topping is no longer the creamy crab we love. It’s literally imitation crab that’s shredded and tasted old with zero sauce mixed in. The fish wasn’t fresh and the other sauces lack flavor. We miss the old tuna poke. Super bummed as we LOVE poke but it’s not worth it anymore when the current owners are cutting corners and getting less fresh fish.

This would be 5 star as the food used to be awesome, but lately the past few times we’ve gone, the portions have been a lot smaller. It seems like less rice and greens, less fish, less everything, in the poke bowl. Today I paid for avocado, and they took it to the back where they cut the avocado and place it on the bowl, and then they brought it back out and bagged it. When I got home I saw there was no avocado. My bf got a very small amount of avocado, and it was very hard. For an extra dollar, the avocado is not worth it. Used to be a lot better. The new Tuna Poke 2 on the west side is much better!

I am new to Poké, and if you are too this place is an excellent gateway. The fish is fresh. The sauces are so good. The atmosphere is clean and bright. The employees are friendly and fast. Generous portions, reasonable prices. I recommend getting a regular bowl with half rice and half lettuce mix or all lettuce mix if you want to be more healthful. I usually grab a bowl to take home after work. Really hits the spot. I have nothing to compare it to, but the food is really good, fresh, affordable and filling.
