This is our go to Thai restaurant usually bringing the food home. This visit was not as good as previous ones. The food was not spicy enough although ordered 7s and the fresh spring rolls, usually great seemed mostly to contain iceberg lettuce and we stuck together and fell apart as separating. We’ll continue ordering here but wonder if something changed.

First time I visited San Diego (La Jolla area), I was looking for a place to eat with my husband and during the search I found Aroi. We're so glad we did! We've come here twice while in San Diego and both times we haven't had to wait for a table, we would choose where we wanted to sit. The service is great and the food is amazing! This is by far, the best Thai food we've had. Highly recommend getting some Thai donuts for dessert, they're delicious!

All the food was much better than expected. In particular, the crab fried rice is the best fried rice I've ever tasted in my life! And Thai donuts is crazy!!! The service is also great. This is a restaurant that seems to have many regulars :)

When they say authentic Thai food that’s exactly what you get. Many items are imported directly from Thailand to maintain authenticity.
We loved the food and unlike many dining experience there was nothing left to take home.

Based on a takeout order, this Thai restaurant serves a better than average version of popular dishes. The staff was polite and prompt when I picked up the food. The parking in front is a bit awkward but there’s plenty of parking at the adjacent Vons lot. Recommended.

I did like the food although level 7 hotness seemed like 10. I can tolerate pretty spicy food and usually level 7/10 is good enough for me but last time when I ordered drunken noodles, it was extremely hot that I could feel it in though my god pipe. Also to mention, the place had a typical fishy smell which was not very pleasant.
