My friend took me to this place and now I am in love with it! From the ambience to the variety of food they make, it's amazing! We had mexican fried chicken, au gratin and brownie with ice cream. All of them tasted so nice. The flavours were perfectly blended and cooked. They keep Indian, italian, continental, chinese....so many types of cuisine. The wall decor and wooden table chairs set the perfect ambience. Definitely going here again soon!

The location of Food Station is very easy and convenient. Coming to the menu and food quality, it's very varied and diverse and the food quality is amazing. This restaurant is one of the few which offers all kind of menu from Indian, Oriental and Continental. I would suggest to visit this place once and try their dishes out. It's affordable and delicious. Also the ambience is lovely.

Cool place. Huge variety. Wonderful decor. Food tasted quite good. Had butter naan and chef's special chicken. Naan was soft and the chicken dish flavourful, customised to suit our spice levels. Would love to try the rest of the menu.

This is my 2nd visit to Food Station. I like this Chinese joint whenever I visit to CU main campus. Both the food and ambiance of the place is good. We took, 1. Veg Singaporean Rice 2. Chicken in Black Bean Sauce Loved everything we had there. One of the best places for Chinese food near Medical College and CU 😌❤️

Small place near Calcutta Uni and Indian Coffee House. Famous for Chicken Masala Dosa and oriental items. Enjoyed the Shrimp Pizza especially. Only washroom, no restroom available. Fun graffiti decor and EDM on the stereo. Great ambience for a date, a family outing, or just some respite from walking in the book market

Food Station is a Wonderful Cozy Restaurant in College Street which reminds me of the Old India Lord's Restaurant in Dum Dum. The Ambiance here during the Night Time here is so calm and so cozy, it is very lovely and very soothing, the stairs at the entrance have a cool design, the menu card has some cool artwork and the 2000s - early 2010s era bollywood music playing in the background makes the ambiance even better. The Chicken Reshmi Kebab which I ordered was very soft and tasty and the Green Chutney was even tastier. The Service Men here are very polite and very professional. It is a very calm place and I feel very relaxed when I am here. Indeed, this restaurant is the Secret Gem in College Street.

The place is nice and cozy and the price is comparable with many restaurants out there. We had chicken pizza there, and compared to the price, the medium sized chicken pizza tasted delicious. Better than Dominoes. One interesting thing is that you don’t have to rant about those pizza bread type, filling type, sauce type etc. like in pizza hut or dominoes. This restaurant have their own filling and it’s pretty delicious!! 😋

Decent place in this area and a peaceful and calm inside the hotel. It is in first floor. But the waiter service only when you ask otherwise he keep the food on your table and he will go and stand near the computer and talk to the billing person ( this was I encountered with) .

This place is located at the best place one can ever place. I have been there twice as it's near to where I live. 1st time I had order dosa plate and it was very bad. The chatni smelled a little. Still I thought maybe it was my bad or their bad day so I went there again after months. I order chicken lollipop. It was hard. Like the chicken was old. And then I understood why this place is always empty and a near by restaurants a always full. I belive the owner should sell this place on rent for some other company to run and both can earn money instead of just wasting money on such a place.

After first time, if second time also problem is not solved, means they don't care. They feel disinterested in following hygiene. What guarantee of Kitchen hygiene? From purno crossing in bhowanipore take a turn towards Lansdowne , 50m from main road. The seating is comfortable and enough to occupy 50 people. Food is tasty and in good quantity. But I think it's a bit over priced. We ordered plain paper dosa and masala dosa. Both the items were yummy. They took some time to serve the food. The chutney they give with the dosas is just delicious. It's not the rasam or the coconut chutney but a different one. We didn't bother to have the rasam, that was so delicious.

I am a very old regular customer of this restaurant since it's inception.This is a very easy going restaurant for me as its within 50mtr to my home and they used to deliver a single dish much earlier than swiggy n zomato have entered into this delivery game. I have seen it's standard getting improved over the years. Today at Dashami we had ordered butter paneer ,butter chicken ,kadai paneer,lacha paratha n several nun. Though I had just only gobbled down the butter paneer but other dishes were also equally good both in taste and quantity .Nun was soft and we enjoyed the dinner at d end .. One of the best places for a family time. I visited them this month and had my favourites. Their chicken lollipops are very juicy, perfectly fried and tossed. Their shahi pulao is to die for and their kabuli naan is one of the best in town. Especially their Chicken reshmi butter masala is so deliciously creamy. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Food station is located in bhawanipur , near the bhawanipur post office. it is a multi cuisine restaurant. being pocket friendly restaurant it serves you a okayish dining. the place has a capacity to accomodate 30 people approx at a single sitting. the ambience is fine , the staffs are courteous. i would say that the food is okay here. though i love the chicken coriander soup here. that is a must try. that is a nice blend of coriander and the chunks of chicken. i would even suggest to try the indian dishes here but the continental is not upto the mark. we tried penne pasta which was not very good. we tried drums of heaven which i found very greasy. Dosa was good. butter chicken was good. pulao was way too good. so i would recommend this place for good indian dinner at a pocket pinch price.

The taste of coriander perfectly complimented with the chunks of chicken.The It's a must try here ✓ Chicken butter masala- It was cooked to perfection. The gravy tasted well. ✓ Navaratna pulao- Fine rice cooded with veggies and pineapple. I personally didn't like those big chunks of pineapple. Overall a nice place to satisfy your taste buds without burning a hole in your pocket.

Food Station is a very small place hidden a little ahead of Purna Cinema hall before Jaggu Bazar, but it still packs a punch with it's North Indian food. One Indian meal is more than enough for one person and is extremely easy on the pocket. The service here is very quick and commendable. The quality of Naan here is THE best because it remains soft even when it is cold and that is something really great!! Best combination is Naan and Chicken Butter Masala. The chicken pieces are so tender that it melts in your mouth. I have recommended this place to many of my friends and acquaintances for a pocket-friendly cum great eating experience!!

Visited this restaurant after almost 15 years to find the interior and standard still the same- which is pretty amazing. To start with the location, it lies in a very convinient location just a few hand distant from Purna cinema hall, Bhowanipore and can be easily located from the main road. Second is its interior; which is quite cozy and decent. The walls and the tables mats display beautiful handsketches of Ancient Italian and American dining cars. This place is never too overcrowded and will give you a space for privacy! Then coming to the food, Apart from Mughlai, this restaurant serves all other popular cuisines namely Chinese, Italian, Continental and Indian. We ordered, 1) plain cheese dosa- quite good and fresh served with three variants of chutney. 2) Chicken Club sandwiches- 4 pieces of mayo and chicken stuffed club sandwiches in one plate were delicious. Nothing extraordinary, yet quite tasty. 3) Chicken gravy chowmien- Very well prepared, extremely juicy and loaded with vegetables and chicken. The best part about this restaurant is their service. Staff Members are very courteous and caring. They served us the food within 5-7 mins of our order!- which gave this place an extra point! Pocket pinch is reasonable. Overall i was absolutely satisfied with this place. Highly recommendable!

A normal family joint , nothing too fancy. Service is quick but the staff needs to work on their manners. Anyways coming to the food, I really liked their north indian dishes specially the chicken butter masala. The kadai paneer and the masala kulchas were good too but the nan was dry. However the chicken risotto was disastrous. It was plain tasteless and the flavours did not mix at all. Definitely a bad choice.

It's a very old and hidden place. I say hidden because, even though I have friends and relatives living around this place I found out about it on zomato. On first look from outside, you won't be impressed, but don't let that turn you off because the food and pricing are great. The place does give off an old world charm. I won't say you will be mind blown after eating the food, but it's actually pretty good and worth you money every bit. But there's a bit of a problem with the service at these old places, for some reason they tend to kinda look down upon their customer :/ Didn't really get treated badly, but I was their with my girlfriends doing silly stuff and these folks were giving us judgmental looks!

It's my para restaurant. I frequent this place with mum for a casual hangout. It has a very homely ambience and serve very good food. We ordered : Shahi pulao. - Polao with cashews, kishmish, paneer and cheese, this is just a heavenly rice preparation. It's very very tasty. You've got to try it to believe it. I give it a 5/5. Chicken bharta- Shredded chicken cooked in thick creamy orange gravy. Unlike other restaurants they served scrambled eggs on top instead of boiled eggs. Again a very tasty dish. I give it a 4/5 Dal makhani - The black dal signature of Punjabi dhabas is made to perfection here. It has the thickness of the gravy with cream used for garnishing. One of the best dal makhanis I've tasted so far. 5/5 for it. Butter naan - Soft and thin prices of naan serve in 4 pieces per naan. Goes very well with both the gravies I spoke of. I give it a 4/10 Vanilla ice cream with darsaan - This is my favourite desert and the restaurant wins me over with the tremendously generous quantities of darsaan that it serves that's hot and crispy and full of the sweetness of honey. Again a 5/5. With so much good food at totally cheap prices this makes for a pocket friendly restaurant worth going to.

Me and my friends are regular visitors there and also order for home delivery. We always get good quality food and therefore this place is out first choice when it comes to real bingeing. But today we ordered a vegetable jhalfrezi and that was the ridiculously poor. I know that there is a lot of market churning going on but amidst that they should have taken care of the food quality which was highly disappointing. And with this, food station is thrown out from our list of fav places.

Hello guys.., I went to this one on 26th Oct with a friend of mine. The ambience was average. The hospitality was indeed good but the number of staffs were less. We ordered and it took around 20 mins to get the food served. Nice decorative way of placing the food. Now comes the quality of foods, we had kababs and plz trust me the tandoor kabab was the best. Cozy Comfortable and great place for a low budget. Feeds u well without burns in your pocket. We went at a very odd hour still service was really homely. Hospitality on point. Menu has pretty much the same things like most out there which makes it easy for amateurs to decide from. Visit this place for a satisfying lunch or dinner. Thanks for reading Have a great day. This was just an out of the blue order. I was getting bored and the next thing I knew, I had placed an order for Chicken Chilli Garlic Noodles. Well, the noodles were tasty and I liked them a lot. However it felt less Chinese and more Italian! I could taste a lot of tomato and garlic and it felt like I was having spaghetti! Again, that doesn't mean I didn't like it. I found the quantity quite filling and there was decent amount of chicken too. Since it was a home delivery, I've got no clue as to the ambience but I do think this place is worth giving a shot! I used to visit this place a lot during 2006. Although it's been almost a decade since I last visited this place, but I still remember the high level of satisfaction this place had provided. I just love the food over here, specially the Continental cuisine they serve. Lasagne was of my favorite picks over here. Interior is simple and decent. Food is too good!! Want to visit this place soon again after all this time. 👍😊

I keep visiting this place pretty often. Firstly because amazing food, good service and secondly and most importantly, doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. Chicken lollipop, chicken reshmi butter masala and all their thalis are extremely well cooked and delicious. Good ambience and good management. Definitely try this place if you're anywhere near Hazra :)

Very neat and clean.Minimal decor.Dropped in one afternoon for lunch.We had ordered a chicken coriander soup,lat me kai,mixed fried rice and hot garlic chicken.Service was prompt.The soup was extremely good.I have had better lat ma kai's.So didn't get much impressed.The fried rice was very very good and flavourful.The chicken side dish was okayish.Quality of food is excellent.But they should definitely increase the portion of rice.

Loved this place alot. This restaurant was very beautiful. Suitable for all age group but specially for youngsters. Ambitious was very warming and hospitality was amazing. Staff was well behaved, very friendly and helpful. I liked the service very much and the presentation was par excellence it was fantabulous. Come to food from snacks to starter to main course to deserts all are very delicious, mouth watering and beautiful looking. It was a full fledged restaurant which serves All indian, continental, Oriental, south indian etc dishes and trust me you gonna like all the dishes. It was a fantastic experience here. Personal favorite. Recommended to all.

Situated in not so cream location, this place offers the finest North Indian to all the foodies. Never have I ever had such a soft Tandoori Roti. Damn! It doesn't picnh your pocket much, and assures you a happy and satisfying meal. P.S. Chinese is worth the try.

An average food joint located on Ramesh Mitra Road, Bhawanipore. The interiors are cozy and there are loads of black and white pictures of trains. The main reason I always hop in here is because of the Chicken Burger. I never liked McD or KFC burger, my favourites are of Chili's or Burger King. But this place is another one which serves an amazing chicken burger. Served with french fries and coleslaw salad, the burger is perfect with the succulent and delicious chicken and soft buns. Try having the burger here once. They also serve decent tea and other cold beverages. My review and rating are solely based on the chicken burger of Food Station!

3mins walk from my home, so it has been quite a no of times i visited this place over the last 10 years almost! Ambiance is nothing special though, just like any normal restaurant. The service is good though. Quality and taste of food is pretty good, but the problem is the quantity. Its very less compared to the price.. Not much value for money hence.. Here Indian is much better than chinese.. Masala Kulcha is my favorite till now :-)

Had ordered White Sauce Penne Pasta. Prepared with the right amount of Cheese, the Pasta tasted brilliant. It was a bit on the sweeter side and catered to my craving quite well. Talking about the restaurant, there's something special about this place. It never disappoints you, whether you order Indian, South Indian, Italian, Chinese or Continental. Do try the food here. Ignoring the bland ambiance and plain interior, this place is very promising when it comes to food. Just another underrated place.

Went there last Sunday with my mom. The place was not so crowded. Food was alright. The service was courteous and excellent. We ordered Tai Pai Chicken for starters, and Mixed Hakka Noodles and Shanghai Chicken for the main course. The quantity was good, and the taste was good, but not as excellent as some expensive eateries. The Shanghai Chicken was the pick of the lot. Recommended to try it once. Pocket Pinch: Rs.550/-

A nice quaint place. I went with my friends and we all enjoyed the food. Service is good and staff are courteous but they kind of hurried us saying that their kitchen closes at 10. Quite early for a Kolkata restaurant. What we had Chicken lollipop. Very good. Tastewise and presentation wise. Veg cheese gratin. Okay but my friends didn't like it much. Very less cheese. Chilli chicken. Okay again. Didn't like it much. Chicken garlic noodles. Okay. Less seasoning and Jai Hind's tastes way better. Stuffed kulcha. My friends really liked it Shahi paneer.this too was yummy Navratan korma. On the sweeter side. Nobody enjoyed it. Fresh lime soda. Not good.

Food Station: A peaceful yet beautiful place to dine in. ====== Intro: This place is located at the heart of Bhawanipur. I had always seen this place but had never tried this before due to the not so appealing outlook on the outside. Nevertheless, i was quite surprised when i entered this place. The ambience of the place was calm and soothing. The stewards were courteous and inviting. A very simple place with not a very extraordinary get up. ====== Food Ordered: 1) Chicken Reshmi Kebab - It was presented nicely. I really liked the kebabs. However, they could have been more succulent. 2) Chicken Butter Masala - The gravy was quite thick and the portions were quite enough to satiate the crave. 3) Tandoori Roti - Perfectly made. Neither too crispy neither too soft. 4) Tutty Fruity Ice Cream - Served in a long glass. Tasted really good. Natural Fruits used. ====== Pros: 1) Location 2) Hospitality was quite good. 3) Simplicity in the ambience. A peaceful place. Cons: 1) Bad entrance board. It's a nice place. The food quality is good.I went on valentine's day. The decor was impressive based on the day's theme. We ordered mysore masala dosa and it was awesome. Brownie with ice cream was also good but chicken club sandwich wasn't upto to our expectations. The waiters were nice and friendly. The ambience is not that great but I will still recommend it because of its reasonable price and good quality food. P.S - it serves various cuisines hence selecting the order can be a little bit difficult :-P

Another eat out office day and N suggested this outlet. I tried the Mexican meal,consisting of : 1. Mexican Rice : Spicy rice with veges / Good 2. Potato with re fried beans : Colourful with stuffed potatoes in a buttery curry 3. Salsa dip with Nachos. : Crispy Nachos with a creamy dip. 4. Fresh Lime soda. : OK And Chocolate fudge. : I love anything choc,so biased yummy. Yummmm....I never ate so much . After i completed,my colleagues were laughing at me addressing me as queen,for whom these dishes are prepared. The meal was enough for 02 pax with moderate appetite. N tried all my curries as well as ordered Corn palak, which she said was very good. So, I guess, my food journey for today was satisfying.:)

Visited for the first time on 18 01 2015, the place is small yet nicely & simply decorated, food is pricey when I consider the taste and quantity, we ordered Chicken Momo remembering the legacy of the College Street outlet, surprisingly the standard has fallen, at Rs 145+tax the Chicken Momo is badder than the Wow Momo one where it costs just Rs 90. We also ordered Mixed Fried Rice which was good and Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce which could have been better. The bathroom was clean. The place receives very less patrons as the locality is not very close to buzzing areas. Service was good as the waiter attended us at every time we needed his help. We also ordered one Chicken Lemon Coriander Soup which had a great taste.
