Great food. I had schnitzel before and this is one of my favourites. The pigtail is new for me. Tasted like ribs and very tender, but I didn't expect it to have a lot of bone and very little meat. The pierogies were deep fried, which was also a first for me. Reminds me of deep fried ice cream since the inside was filled with cream cheese. The service was nice and very friendly. Would come again.

Good food and excellent service. We went during the week and took advantage of the 50% off for the second plate (2 drinks order to qualify). I had a delicious mimosa and hubby beer of course. The schnitzel was divine! The mashed potatoes were a bit dry but that happenss with mashed potatoes. Hubby had the home fries and he asked for them to make them extra crispy and those were so good. The coleslaw was average. The broccoli soup was extremely tasty and I wish they would give more of it! I did not eat the garlic bread because I felt I would not have room for the schnitzel. Strongly recommend this resto!

Came with a group of friends and made a reservation. Seated in the back area, the restaurant is very clean and had very friendly employees working. Ordered the Metro Schnitzel, with dill and potato soup, fries and red cabbage as sides. Portion sizes are great and the food was hot and delicious. Good value for the amount of food you get, will be going back again sometime!

Great service and great meal. Went in for the buy-one-get-one-50%-off special. We did not specify that. So, I ordered "combo" meal rather than a classic schnitzel so it did not qualify. Totally our fault, our sever said if we had specified we were there for that he would have explained. (In retrospect, he should have explained the special) Regardless, delicious schnitzel and sides. We will be back.

Excellent schnitzel dinner enjoyed here. Made reservations to ensure we weren’t disappointed. Ordered the platter for two- delicious and plentiful! You can pick your own sides and starters (their soups are always excellent) and the 4 schnitzels are large. We pay the extra to switch up the schnitzels to our favourites. Worth it! Fantastic food!

The food as usual was perfect! If you like schnitzel this is the place for you. An iconic German style restaurant in Kitchener. My favorite is the Cordon Swiss and second favorite is the Gypsy Schnitzel! Fantastic friendly service with an established ownership that has been there for decades! My parents loved this place and turned it into a family tradition. Whenever we go to kitchen we bring my mother back there as she misses the place since moving to St. Thomas. (If this restaurant ever expanded it would be awesome if one landed in St. Thomas.
