Pizza King

A treasure in the woods! We were out this way and decided we wanted pizza. Typed pizza into Google maps, and this popped up, we're glad it did! The inside is different from a standard "sit down" restaurant. We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff, given menus, and told to sit wherever we wanted. Once ready to order, come up to the counter / bar. We ordered 2 small garden salads, one with no olives and french dressing, the other with house dressing and how it comes. Salads were fresh and crunchy, and the house dressing was excellent! It's made daily. Mine was standard French dressing. We ordered their gourmet meat lovers pizza large. Talk about a heavy, thick, MEATY pizza piled. The crust was thin underneath but had the PERFECT crunchy yet melt in your mouth experience. The sauce had the perfect amount of acidity to compliment the savoryness of the meats and cheese. 100% we will be back, 40 minutes from where we live, but it's worth the trip. The only thing that could use some improvement is the restrooms, kinda small, dim lights, and antiquated. We didn't have the opportunity to go on the deck as it was ugly heavy rain outside. I'm sure the views are phenomenal.

Today's food adventure brought us to the coolest place we've been to in ages! Pizza King? Absofrickenlutely! Someone needs to bring him a bejeweled crown! Totally off the beaten path, nestled in the wood, alongside a beautiful pond. Outdoor seating is a must when you come! Our view was stellar. The food??? Beyond stellar! It's always these cool out of the way places that have the best food! They even have pitchers of soda! No one does that anymore! We started with the wings. They come in so many flavors we got a 20 piece with 10 garlic Parm and 10 regular Buffalo. There is a XXX Buffalo that comes with a waiver...we opted not to do those tonight. The pizza we chose was The King Cheeseburger! It was like a deconstructed Bic Mac only BETTER! This place is worth the trip!!! See the pics and you'll understand why!

Went for lunch today with my sister in law. Best pizza we've had in a long time. Had a pepperoni pizza with peppers and onions and it was to die for. The crust was absolutely amazing. The girl at the counter was very pleasant and our pizza was brought out to us nice and hot. Definitely will be taking the ride again from Rhode Island. .

Great food, great service. New owner's are super nice. Not a fan of pizza toppings under the cheese but pizza was so good I will deal with it. French fries were slammin. 1 negative was karaoke was too loud and 80% of people who sang it were way off, but hey I think that's probably the same with any karaoke no matter where u go 😂🤣😅😆😁🙂🫠🙃

One of my favorite places for pizza! All pizza is made with the freshest ingredients ...and the gooeyest cheese makes for the best pizza experience. I have been coming to this quaint -middle of nowhere restaurant on the lake for 25 years. Life has had so many changes for me, but thankfully, Pizza King has never been one of them. Still as quaint and delicious as ever! The new owners and staff are wonderful! My favorite memories are here on the lake, for sure!

Great spot I’m so glad we found this place. I have yet to find any good pizza in the area pizza king fulfilled that issue Staff was great Pizza was filling and yummy Prices are about typical for the times Very cozy inside. Typical older restaurant Look At first, I was a little hesitant because location it looks like it goes down a dirt road into the woods even though there are signs everywhere they still didn’t stick out, but took the chance and was glad I did Loaded nachos were Ok. The chili was amazing the nacho cheese was good but not my thing I will definitely be going back for more I give it a 4.8 out of 5
