Sumera

My 12 yr. old son and I visited Sumera on Far Hills in Kettering for the first time a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure what to expect, as I've not really had much sushi before. And I wasn't sure how my son would like it either. Both of us were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant clean, the employees beyond friendly, and the food very, very good! Yes, Sumera is along the same lines as Chipotle and Piada (close neighbors of this store, actually). But unlike Chipotle, you can actually hear yourself think at Sumera. I like the format (rolls or bowls) and the idea that you can choose from pre-determined ingredient combinations, or make up your own. The ingredients are fresh and well-prepared. The portions are a great value for the cost. Since our first visit, we've been back at least 5 times. Each time we are greeted with a friendly smile and plenty of great food! I highly recommend Sumera as an alternative to all the usual dining fare.
