Red Lobster

Excellent dinner. Great service (our waitress, Kristin B) very helpful and professional. Lobster Artichoke dip was very good. Dinner: Mariner's Fest, with Atlantic salmon/Lobster sauce, grilled scallops and Walt's Favorite shrimp, my wife enjoyed it. I had the Endless shrimp, grilled shrimp and garlic shrimp scampi + many second servings, delicious and very filling. We also had nice side salads and fresh Fluffy biscuits. Once again, an excellent dining experience.

Ordered take-out for Valentines Day. I knew they would be busy, I expected that, and my wife is not quite ready for crowds yet. Ordered at 2pm for a 4pm pickup. Arrived at the restaurant at 3:45 pm, they said my order wasn't ready, confirmed what I had ordered, presented me with the bill. Told them no problem I was a little early, paid with 15% tip added. After patiently waiting for an hour and half, at 5:15pm, after watching order, after order, after order go out the door for curbside pickup, I inquired about my order (that I had ordered over 3 hours ago) One of the hostess went to the kitchen, returned with it in-hand immediately. There was some confusion as they asked for me to pay for it again, showed my receipt to prove it had been paid, and drove home. The order obviously been done for a while and it had set there until I asked about it, everything was completely cold. A few seconds in the microwave to get things warmed up a bit, we finally ate. Seafarers Feast and a 12oz New York Steak. They forgot to include the salads, and the baked potato was about the size of a lemon, but what we did get was good considering. Not the greatest overall experience. I can overlook a lot, but the service and accuracy of the order was disappointing for the prices/tips paid.

The Hostess, were very nice and even said "Happy Birthday, " but our waitress that's a different story. We waited 17 minutes for cold bread, I got the Lobster Lover Dream ( $44) my Lobster was cold, no butter or lemons. I asked for straws. It took another 10 minutes for 1 straw. And I didn't want to bother our waitress. Because, she looked so comfortable sitting with so guy. So, we asked the hostess for some lemons and a straw. And she was nice and helpful. But, honestly we just took our food Togo.

I went to Red Lobster because it was good the last time I went, but this time not so good. I ordered the Ultimate surf and turf, medium rare steak. Well when I got it, the lobster was luke warm, and not fully cooked(it was very soft) and my 6oz steak was medium to well cooked and smaller than a McD’s patty. For $41 usd, I would expect better. I go out to get a better meal than I can cook at home. When I don’t get that, I stop going. Now I understand that staffing all over is short right now, but that’s not an excuse for poor quality. Now not all of it was bad, the mash potatoes were good, and the scallops were good, the salad was good, oh and the pop was bubbly.

We went here for lunch with friends. The meno shows one thing yet you get something different then shown. The waitress was a bit sarcastic when we brought it to her attention. She did go check out why the plate wasn't the same as the picture on the menu . Her answer was that's just for advertising and it doesn't come with everything on the picture. Well isn't that false advertising ? The food not that great bad experience and slow service .
