Luby's

Worshipping at the altar of all-things floral and chintzy, this is a sweet little cafe with friendly service. Great range of food and snacks on offer and very generous portions. Only snag was that we couldn't find a a cherry at all in the cherry scones and the coffee was an exceptionally dark roast and wouldn't be to many people's liking. That said, the people that work there are dedicated to ensuring that the 'village feel' is kept and it is certainly the sort of place you would want to head for in order to celebrate a birthday with a special chum. We also appreciated the efforts that the owners had gone into in terms of looking after the loos.... a vast selection of yummy hand-creams (following the 'scented-baking' theme). Certainly worth a stop off or a little de-tour if you're in the area.
