Uptown Cafe

This place was recently bought by the waitresses from the original owner who retired. Thankfully, the print on the menu is the only thing that's changed. The food is still excellent, as it always was before. Service, of course, is just as friendly as you'd expect, and no one is a stranger. Just a great family diner with great food. Try the breakfast! Offered all time of day, it's the best!! But if you're not a breakfast eater they have wonderful lunch and dinner entrees as well! You can't go wrong with this place!

Love this place and have gone there years with my kids for breakfast or whatever. Today we spent 15 minutes sitting and waiting just to get a water, which we did not get, and people who came in after us they had time to clear off their table wipe it down and give them coffees and we were told 3 times they would be right with us but it never happened. Loved the old owners but the new ones don't really care who you are. Have always left a great tip and got things to go but they desperately need help in the kitchen area and waitress. Don't think the present owners hearts are into making this place great again.

The food was very good. But the waitress was very poor. She only came & took the order & brought the food to the table & never ever came & checked on us again if we needed anything. Our drink glasses were both empty & we needed a to go box because we couldn't eat all of our meal. So I had to ask for a to go box when I paid the ticket.

Customer service was seriously lacking. The cherry on top was when We walked to the counter to pay and the lady at the counter didn't say a word just took our bill and card, and when we looked at each other awkwardly she said "is there a problem?".she was very confrontational. A smile and a Hello would have sufficed. Food was pretty good. But probably won't be back because of the lack of customer care.
