Nickajack Bbq

Place was clean and neat. Got pork , chicken, and slaw to go. Pound of pork seemed to be light and the meat juice was fatty. Only a light smoke flavor and shredded more than the pulled pork one usually finds. The chicken was finely shredded, seemed to have slightly sweet taste, and had no discernable smoke flavor. The meats were disappointing to us. The slaw was good. Only got few ounces of sauce for two pounds of meat. Sorry but not worth it.

Wow!! We had the pulled pork and the crazy dog. We're from New Orleans, and there are some good BBQ places out there, but this was amazing. Portions were large, and the sides were great. Worth the trip from anywhere. Update: since then we went there every single day of our vacations. We ordered takeout and the pictures are posted with this review. Banana Pudding (check pictures) is absolutely great with a great texture and just a hint of a banana, we liged it. Its light and not heavy or greasy at all.Amazing. Wife's favorite is a crazy dog and she eats it until she nearly bursts(it's HUGE) Pulled pork sandwich is absolutely to die for. My favorite. Pictures of the large pulled pork sandwich are included.
