The Bean

I visited this establishment while attending a conference nearby. I highly recommend the hazelnut latte and the breakfast burrito. They were so yummy! I also loved the decor and the cozy atmosphere. If I lived in the Jackson area, I could see myself coming in here to work in one of the little cubby spaces. I'll be back the next time I come to Jackson!

I thoroughly enjoy The Bean! The coffee and food are incredible. The peanut butter pie, the grown up grilled cheese for lunch, and the breakfast sammy on Saturday brunch are all insanely good. But it's the staff that makes it for me. Peyton, Meg, Sal, Maddie, Kali, Bethany, Anna, Mary Grace - all of them - are so welcoming, kind, and always creating an inviting atmosphere for the customers. Thankful for this place!

Sneaky Beans provides a fantastic environment and atmosphere for work! There are four different sections (from what I saw) and three of them are with excellent natural lighting provided by the window! The music they play here are pretty nice and the chai I had was great! Really recommend if you’re looking for a place to chill, but wouldn’t recommend you to sit at the furthest room if you’re planning on using their guest wifi.

I love the updates to this classic location. The Bean does both coffee and food super super well and you should not miss an opportunity to visit here. I had a period where I worked remotely here often and it was the perfect place for that as well: music is always at a tasteful volume, it's never overly crowded, and the baristas at that time were some really great people. I will say, recently, the quality of coffee sometimes depends on which baristas are in. Certain ones never fail, but when we've come during evening hours we've gotten some pretty bad espresso, I guess they were new people? They have two study rooms in the hallway which allow you to close the door and work alone for a time period (I think it's 2 hours?). Very very nice feature. Cute little restrooms with plants in them. Supplies stay very well stocked but sometimes the automatic sink sensor takes a while to detect your hands, which can be a little bit annoying. This location was home to a long-standing coffee shop with good history in the area so I was really happy to see it updated and brought back to life (in my opinion). This is one of my favorite spots in the Jackson area.
