Good service. Ordered the Brisket Flatbread for an appetizer, it was delicious! Will definitely order again. I also ordered the fish and chips. The fries were okay, nothing amazing. But the fish was great, very well done along with their house tartar sauce. If you like Margaritas order their house margarita. Nice twist on a classic.

Customer service is decent. Hostest forgot we was waiting outside to order our food. After about 15 minutes we decided to go back in. Finally a guy waiter told us to find us a seat. He then got our drink orders. The food took way to long to come out. The greens was sweet. I didn't care for them at all. The catfish was good but no dill pickles only sweet pickles disgusting. No onions and way to much salt on my cold French fries. My friend enjoyed his grilled chicken dinner with greens and blacked eye Peas. But it's definitely a no go back for me.

Yesterday was my first time at this restaurant and I don’t plan on coming back. We went for lunch but the food was nothing to brag about. The best thing was the beer battered onion rings. I had the fish and my friend ordered a chicken sandwich. She said her sandwich tasted like it was fried in fish grease. The worst thing was our waiter, Jordan. He took our orders, gave us the food, and then spent the rest of the time at the bar talking and laughing with the bartender and another gentleman. It wasn’t busy at all. At one point we were the only people in the restaurant. Three other people came in and were seated. Jordan was their waiter but never came back to their table so one guy went and got him so he could take their orders. Once my friend and I finished eating, I had to go to the door and interrupt Jordan’s conversation so he could print our checks.

Arrived just before closing, we were seated promptly and service was excellent. There was great live entertainment and the drinks were well made. I can't recall our gentlemen server's name but very personalable, familiar with menu items and offer insight on choices and accommodating to our preferences, he reads his customers well through brief conversations.

Nice restaurant with a unique menu and great customer service. Michael was wonderful, and he had great food and drink recommendations. The tator tots have a special seasoning like none other I've ever had, and the pimento cheese bits were great. I had a brownie type dessert that was the perfect ending to a great meal. The bloody mary had the perfect amount of spice and tons of goodies in it.

‘Twas the day of my Birthday and all through my house, my belly rumbled and even gave a great shout. Thus my excursion to Barrelhouse began. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly server. After a short look at the menu, I decided upon the chicken finger dinner with green beans and tater tots as my sides. Everything was superb, except the green beans. They lacked seasoning and tasted as if they had been delivered from my high school’s cafeteria! However, three points for the atmosphere, service, and the rest of my entree.

I was with a party of 12 we had a 45 min wait, then when we told them it was getting too cold outside waiting, we were told we can be seated, but won't have a waitress anytime soon. Catfish seasoning wasn't the best & some was fried too hard, kind of smell like burnt grease, the greens and string beans were spicy (not a fan of spicy greens or beans), fried okra and roasted sweet potatoes were salty. Philly steak was salty. Grill chicken amazing had no favor, had to drown it in the parmesan sauce, but the cornbread was good once we finally received it because we had our plates without the bread we ordered. Sweet tea was good, it was the right amount of sweetness. One of the managers came out, and I felt like she wasn't to kind...she came out saying...okay, what's wrong with everyone sides (sounded sarcastic) some of the party switch & some decided to just not eat it & it's like lunch was ruined so just forget it. Of course 20% gratitude was added to our tickets, switch is no problem since it was 12 of us, but service was not 20% worth it. Maybe they will discuss with the chef or take in consideration the food quality after seeing how much was left on the table...it was definitely not a "to go box" moment for 10 of the 12. I tried it and definitely won't be going back. Prices was good, but just not the food. FYI some menus online show tea comes with blue plate, but it do not, its $2.50 extra.
