Great customer service as always, & the special menu item over Labor Day weekend 2023, “Short Rib Macaroni & Cheese” was absolutely delicious & amazing!! The Elotés was pretty good as well, the chips, not so much, they were so-so tasting, but definitely not necessary to eat “with” the corn dish.

Great service from Arturo last night June 2021! We took my parents for an overnight stay to celebrate Father’s Day and we went to Prairie River for dinner on a Saturday night. The food was really nice; excellent chips and homemade guacamole for a starter, shared the club salad and we had salmon and flank steak for our entrees. I had William reserve Cabernet wine. The experience was 5 stars because of the experience overall and the quality of the food served but the restaurant doesn’t look like the photos posted on the website.
It’s the bar where golfers are coming off the golf course so there’s a lot of casually dressed traffic coming in and out. It’s not a place to celebrate a special occasion or something like it for this reason; lots of sweaty casually dressed golfers don’t match the dining ambiance we’d hoped for. Recommend highly but definitely plan to have a late night meal around 8 pm when golfing is done and live music begins!
