Peter's Steakhouse

This place was an absolute delight to eat at. The staff was very kind and attentive. Our waitress which I’m pretty sure was the owner, was very funny and kind. The food was delicious. I had the prime rib sandwich with French fries. The appetizer combo was delicious also, it has calamari, fried shrimp, fried oysters, and delicious soft shell crab. Just an overall great ambience here. Please come try it out you won’t regret it!

Peters 8oz famous prime rib was on point, medium well done. Also the seafood appetizer was very appetizing, the crab was spot on. The host is very friendly. I will definitely be back to try other steaks and recommend others to Peter’s Steak House. I rate my meal and first time experience 9.5 out of 10

Had the 8oz prime rib here. It was cooked right and everything that came with the meal is tasty including the bread and butter. My only disappointment is that the dessert didn't have a whole lot of selection, but that's my own preference. The service was quick, friendly, and pricing is reasonable. I definitely will come back.

I wanted to post photos but we ate dinner so fast because it was so delicious. This is a really nice sit-down place that has big cubicles for people that aren't super tiny! Service is prompt and everything was super fresh. The meal was excellent and the dessert: the hot brownie with ice cream sundae. Don't miss it!!!

I like the lady who was the waitress. She is also the owner. I had a party of four and it was very expensive. The atmosphere was good and she was very kind. The food was good. The only complaint I have is that the seats were very worn down. No cushion and my bottom hurt as well as my guest's bums hurt to. If you would fix the seats it would have been a five star experience. I was going to move to another seat, but my guests had been there before and said that they were all like that.

So let me break it down for you real simple to 3 reasons not to go to this place. 1. The service, the service here was terrible, besides that of the chef, or owner not sure his name he was super nice, but the lady who was taking orders was the worse server I have witnessed, she was controlling, judgmental, and condescending. We had a burger and asked what sauce she said “burgers don’t come with sauce, I’ve never heard anyone ask what kind of sauce” very rudely. That is just one example. 2. The environment, the environment here screams “we have an underground operation” it has a broken piano, there is fish rocks in the bathroom drawers, there is a dirty bar right up front, the place is going for a classic look sure, but it needs a makeover and has a very uninviting atmosphere. No comfort is presented in this place, as well as no romantic essence. 3. Oh yes, you know I had to save the best for last the food. I am no stranger to Cajun, but this is Cajun from the swamp. The breading on this food is really the epicenter of the problem, the way these foods are fried and seasoned is peculiar. The chicken strips are long and skinny, they taste terrible. The meat looks pale, and farmed improper. It’s a solid 4/10 when it comes to fries it’s no sunrise this place missed the mark . They prize crawdads, and have sauces named after a Jessica. This is a disaster, they catch the animals at the swamp and cook it, with outdated cook books, and people who can’t hold conversations, these people are a disgrace to food.
